The Physical and Mental Rehabilitation, located in the historic Digamadulla district is the first of its kind in Sri Lanka providing facilities for those physically and mentally weak. What makes this centre truly unique is its recent initiative of 'half way homes' or 'villas' where family members are allowed to stay in-house with the patients till the completion of their treatment adding the extra motivation that the patients need to improve in all aspects of their wellbeing.

The Centre is located in a picturesque landscape, surrounded by lush trees and
mountains making it an ideal location to stimulate the minds of the patients.

Patients are taken into the care of the rehabilitation centre once their acute illness has settled, where the Consultant, doctors and staff work tirelessly around the clock to maximize the functional capacity of each individual to their optimum physical and mental capabilities through aerobics, physical activites, music and meditation programmes so that once home they are able to lead a close to normal life as possible.
