Bit of hand stitching to finish off a new Teddy’s bottom🤗 I so love making these. Working out the best placement for the fabrics. Backing them so they don’t stretch and are resilient. Embroidering the personalisation on the feet then filling with toy grade filling to bring them to life. My happy place ☺️

Making a lovely order of hedgehogs for a client. Putting the finishing touches on is a lovely part of the process. Isn’t it amazing what you can do with a ball of twine and a hook. Add a little toy stuffing, some safety eyes, sew it all together and two relatively uninteresting shapes become a real cutie ☺️ This pattern is from www.1dogwoof.com

Adventures in the Spring sun ☺️🫶🏻

Loving this colour! Spring fresh grassy green 💚Well actually it’s called Kale but 🤷‍♀️it’s still lovely. This yarn is a lovely textured Acrylic/wool and viscose mix so can be washed up to 40 degrees but I’d recommend handwashing and reshaping while damp. That will also ensure the wooden label will not be damaged. x This one is 18cm x 14cm and £28 including UK postage. Payment by Paypal which protects you and me ☺️

Today is all about my brand. I will admit to struggling a bit with branding and being consistent but i’m trying 🫣
Bags it’s Mine! was created to reflect the fact that I was making bags when I started out (what? really? 🤣)As my business has developed, I’ve been advised to change my name but I don’t want to! To me it reflects the fact that I don’t mass produce and that each piece I make is either individual or a small batch piece so…if you want it, be quick and yell ‘Bags it’s Mine!’ 😂❤️

Nothing brings me greater pleasure than being trusted with precious fabrics and creating something tangible to hold all those memories. As there are many types of fabrics, each piece is backed with cotton interfacing to ensure the pieces are sewn together without distorting. I design the quilt, cushion or teddy, specific to the desire of the client. The finished product provides a huggable memory for a loved one lost or just a way of trapping amemory of a specific time or event. See below for some of the items I have made. I am privileged🤗

Spring is starting to spring (according to my snowdrops) and my Tulip crochet classes start soon! These are suitable for anyone who knows how to do a double crochet stitch but would like to know how to work in the round. You’ll have everything you need to make your tulip and leaves and I’ll share my tips and tricks for getting a great result 🤗 Dates are Tuesday 6th Feb 7-9pm and Wednesday 7th 1-3pm.
