GIM provides free music instruction, exposure to nationally-known musicians, concert tickets, & scholarships for kids at Boys & Girls Clubs of Austin.

Launched in 2007 in Austin, Texas, Grounded in Music is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Austin music industry professional Joseph Stallone, Partner at Oaks, Hartline & Daly LLP. GIM's Advisory Board consists of:
