BHARWA TAMATAR CURRY!! ๐

๐Wash and dry the tomatoes. Slice thin tops off the tomatoes.
๐Scoop out tomato seeds, save them for gravy.
๐Heat oil in a pan, add jeera and chopped onion. when the onions become pink add the chopped ginger and green chillies.
๐Add the dry masalas. Mix well.
๐Add the mashed potatoes and grated paneer and salt.
๐Mix well and saute for 1 โ 2 mins. Then add the chopped coriander leaves.
๐Stuff each tomato with this mixture. It is important to to stuff the filling properly in the tomatoes.
๐If you want you can even keep the tomatoes lids on the top and close with the tooth pick.
๐Now cook the tomatoes on low flame in some oil, keep rotating on each sides.
๐The tomato skin should get soft but should not loose its shape.

๐Make a fine paste of Tomatoes, tomato pulp, cashewnuts and green chilly.
๐Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, onion, ginger and garlic.
๐Now add all the powder spices and stir for 10 seconds to release the flavours.
๐Add tomato paste and let it cook till the oil separates.
๐ In winter I love to add fresh green peas in the gravy, you can use the frozen peas too.
๐Finally tip in the cream and mix well, sprinkle crushed kasoori methi on the top.
๐Pour in 1/2 cup water and bring to boil and simmer for a couple of minutes.
๐In the end add the cooked stuffed tomatoes in the curry and stir well.
๐ฅServe hot with roti, parathas or steamed rice.
