Back in May Joely and Chris said their " I do's " at Intimate Wedding Venue Tree Top Escape. Blessed with the company of their gorgeous daughter and closest family . Beauty by Cathy created Joely's beautiful make up, Joely's sister did her hair . The stunning bouquet was by Church Park Flowers. The confetti was by Flower & Farmer .... Joely said " I wanted to have some confetti from flowers that were grown locally to me in Northamptonshire" . Now Joely is very passionate about sustainability and so her dress and veil was rented from P.S. Bridal Rental - there is more to come on this ! ( bear with) . It was fantastic day full of personality and loads of love and I was very blessed to be able to document it all :)))

Well don't Amy Gohl and Matt know how to throw a wedding . As we left Amy asked if she could have a couple teasers and I am a girl of my word , so here you go ! It was a truly awesome day and when I say the most ever photo's I have taken at a wedding , it is not an exaggeration! Whilst there is sooooooooo much more to come I thought we would start with sharing just images of Amy and Matt- afterall the whole day was about them ! ......... then we will get to the partyyyy, the bucking bronco, brilliant speeches, pizza, play fights and so so much more .

Oh and Matt made me trek up to codden hill , I thought I was in training for ten tors hahaha but the View at the top and the images we got . .. soooooo worth it !

Once Amy and Matt have had some quality time to wind down and just enjoy time with each other and the kids I will grab a list of suppliers and update this post - please bear with

And also massive shout out to my husband Chris North Summit Films & Photography for being my second shooter- he smashed it out the park and he was as much my equal as anything else !

What started off as blue skies and sunshine soon turned into heavy downpours and thunder rumbling in the distance and so at one point we had to run for cover , which added to the memories of the day . Thank you so much for asking me to document your day , I loved spending a few short hours with you all :)

Sneak peeks for Sabina O'connor and Phil, I know she is eagerly waiting and excited !
So if you have followed me since pretty much the beginning of my journey , you may remember I started off with a little home studio in my living room , at that time Sabina came to visit me with her children for a photo shoot and has continued to followed my business since then - we are talking 2012 ish ! So I was honoured and delighted when she got in touch asking if I would photograph their wedding .
It was lovely to see the kids who are now young adults and other familiar faces . So many emotions and plenty of banter throughout the time spent with them ! and I look forward to them being able to view them all next week when they are finalised :)

Swapping the Welsh countryside for The Devon Countryside . John and Lyndsey have been together for 10 years and held their wedding celebrations at Tree Top Escape, joined by their closest family and friends! They hoped for a " happy, relaxed, go with the flow day with no stress and all smiles" and I think you will agree that is exactly what they got !

A great idea and you can easily match to your colour scheme :)

I am definitely not the best at narrowing images down haha but I feel this set tells a good story of the feel, style and energy of the day as well as the love between everyone ! and showing just a handful of images just was not going to do that in this instance. And yeahhhh to finally having some good weather !

I LOVE to see thing's that I haven't before and so this I thought was such a lovely idea. Tina and Sam had a small intimate wedding of around 30ish guests. The wedding rings were taped to the underside of a random chair . When the time came for the rings , guests had to feel around under their seat and that person was the lucky ring bearer . Not even Tina and Sam knew who it was going to be :)
Plenty more to show , I just need more hours in the day !

I started the gallery of John and Lyndsey this morning and sent a photo off to them to say I have started and I received this lush email back !

I have been waiting to see one of these in the flesh and I can confirm I loved it as much as I thought I would ! A modern take on a buttonhole that slips into the pocket of a jacket . I am just uploading Sam and Tina's gallery and so once they have had a minute to view and absorb their images I will be sharing some more :)
They purchased this from Florence and Flowers on Etsy :)

April showers stayed true to its history on Becky and Sean's wedding day - and the shower stayed on all day . Credit to everyone who embraced it with open arms . A fabulous day with a made for each other couple who are blessed with gorgeous friends and family who gave myself and Chris plenty of hugs when we left despite us being pretty wet and bedraggled haha . It is so hard to choose images as there was a massive amount but here a few of my favs to tell a short story

Today I am heading off on an adventure for the weekend and the weather forecast is not looking fabulous. I am just working on Becky and Sean's gallery from the start of April and admiring their willingness to go out in torrential rain and pull off images like this! A reminder that all adventures are what you make of them !

Richard and Annette have very kindly allowed me to share a few images of their beautiful wedding at Millbrook Cottages & Estate a few weeks ago ! Such a lovely couple to work with and I loved watching them together they just radiated joy :) Something I also realllllly loved is that because they were eloping they both went shopping for THE dress together - Richard helped choose and I just think that is something so special that they chose to do together .They were also joined by their little boy but we are keeping photos of him off social media but he did a fabulous job of being page boy and he loved meeting the alpaca's as well as being looked after by Executive Nanny Care North Devon.

It has been almost 6 months since I had blue skies to photograph at a wedding - saturday was a joyous day at Millbrook Cottages & Estate , looking as gorgeous as ever

We all know how I feel about black and white .timeless, classic , romantic ! Here's a handful of my favourites from Gemma and John's elopement wedding. Soooooo in love, so beautiful to witness !

Aimee and Craig were joined by their very closest loved ones and it was a pleasure to spend time with everyone . I joined the boys who were staying just down the road from the venue at Wootton Manor ( in the lodge) . I have never seen such an organised bunch- everything they needed lined up in all the correct places - hair gel, to lint rollers to boot polish and they even made me a cuppa !!
Then I went to the venue to photograph Aimee's final moments of getting ready , who was just as organised with a perfectly tidy bedroom and everything laid out ready also .
Craig's reaction was just lovely as Aimee entered the nest- a little tear or two were shed .
It was a day were you could feel the love and see the closeness of everyone and was a joy to photograph

Back in November Rachel and Martin said " I do " at Intimate Wedding Venue Tree Top Escape. A lovely couple so made for each other and I just loved Rachel's choice of attire .

I don't know about anyone else but I am ready to be feeling some spring sunshine on my face . Even though I am a winter lover - it has been long hasn't it ? But it does mean outdoor ceremonies are soon on the horizon and I can't wait ! Wind in your hair, sun on your skin , and the sounds of nature in the background. Lush !!

I am now off for a week - my last until later in the year as mid march I will be into my season . I will check in on emails every couple days but will be off my socials . Speak soon

It was an absolute pleasure and joy to document Phil and Laura's wedding day Intimate Wedding Venue Tree Top Escape , such a lovely bunch of people to spend a couple of hours with . I was over the moon to receive the loveliest email about how much they love them. The rain was certainly not on our side considering that it was supposed to be cloudy all afternoon , it absolutely bucketed down like a watering can constantly being poured on you but everyone took it all in their stride . Iconic Hair and Makeup did an absolutely beautiful job on hair and make up and it still looked perfect through all the elements. It was lovely to briefly see Graze & S'more who set up the most gorgeous looking table of yumminess which in itself looked like a work of art and the oh so pretty bouquet was by Church Park Flowers.
I also got to see the new addition - baby Winter the alpaca, possibly the cutest darn thing I have ever seen- so bouncy and inquisitive

Always, my eyes are scanning to capture the details that tell your back ground and your story and the theme off the day . Those little details that you have so carefully thought off ! What county was I in on this day ?

I will never not love veil images . Never I tell you !

For those evening munchies with a shot of home made sloe gin . Perfect night snacks !

Bumper cars at a wedding can only be found of course at The Old Barn near clovelly . Great fun for kids and adults alike and the perfect entertainment for that "inbetween" gap where tables are being turned around to make way for the dancefloor .
