• Tom Ovenden of Ovenden Motorsport Ltd had a strong weekend at Brands Hatch, improving as the weekend went on in MINI CHALLENGE UK.
• At the same circuit, Craig Reid of Reid Trucksport was in good form as he finished on the podium of all five of his races in his class.
• In the other class of the BTRC, Dave Jenkins of Jenkins Motorsport Development competed strongly, taking home two podium finishes.
• Ty Proctor #20 Australian Speedway Rider. had a busy weekend, competing for both Leicester Lions Speedway and King's Lynn Stars, picking up valuable points as both sides picked up wins.
• Luke Harris Racing finished third in his final.
• Thomas Potter Racing won his race without any practice or testing.
• Big sister Catherine Potter Racing was happy with her performance and times having had no practice.

• After 16 long months, Ty Proctor #20 Australian Speedway Rider. was back out on the speedway bike, enjoying a practice before his first meeting on 17th May

2020 was scheduled to be Ty's 15th year as a Morris Lubricants ambassador but as the Speedway UK season was cancelled, we now look forward to hopefully seeing Ty back on track in 2021.

It’s been 15 years since the Cheetahs last competed in the professional leagues and our very own Jamie Courtney has been instrumental in putting that together.

Please give a warm Shielfield Park welcome to another new name to wear the Bandits colours but very much a familiar face over the years as a strong opponent, Ty Proctor!
Proctor who, for the majority of his Championship career has held down roles as a heat leader at most teams he has represented, will bring firepower and experience to the Bandits middle order.
Team manager Gary Flint is in firm belief that the talented Aussie is better prepared than ever to come and do a solid job for the club in 2022.
Flint adds,
🗣 “ I am really happy to welcome Ty to Berwick. Our 1 to 7 is looking very strong and I am excited to get the show on the road now.
Ty’s track record in the UK has been very solid and only injuries and a recent brief hiatus from the sport have really held him back at all but he has came to the right club to reach his full potential once again.
On his day he beats anybody in the league on any track and that is a team managers dream.
We work very hard on and off the track at Berwick Speedway and our philosophy is very much based on feeling good and giving 100% effort and Ty is invested in that and more prepared than ever to come and enjoy a successful season at the club. “
