Happy World Down Syndrome Day, here is a chicky rocking it’s “socks”!
For those who don’t know my youngest daughter Alice has Down Syndrome and we celebrate all that make her extraordinary by wearing funky and mismatched socks on 3/21 for 3 copies of the 21st chromosome and chromosomes look like socks!

I am so proud of this little egg!
A product of my own specialty cross between a cream legbar rooster and a black copper Marans hen that I am so pumped for!!

I managed to get one bouquet of sweet peas before the frost hit!
Next year I will definitely be planting earlier and getting pea fences in!

Fresh Clean Coops for everyone!!
It was a lot of hard work and many, many wheelbarrow loads but I got all the pens of the mature flock cleaned out!
Also, I have a little trio of Crested Cream Legbars for sale if anyone is interested in adding some blue eggs to their own flock 😊
