California has the supply, Nevada has the demand.
Seems pretty easy to figure out a solution here, but thanks to federal regulations neither state can benefit from the others problem.
A recent article in the LA Times states that California produces about 8x's the amount of cannabis it consumes, and due to laws against exporting cannabis across state lines a severe drop in production will be needed.
There is speculation that this will lead to a decrease in state permit applications and an increase in black market production.
