An idea inspired by Springy-Spring flowers, our beautiful forest, and my magical scrap wood pile.
A few cuts with my trusty jigsaw and. . .

Wondering how my chair project is going??
Something
Like
This...
It's sanded (smooth as a baby's bum), paint colors and design chosen, back fell apart.
Again.
Time for more aggressive measures to secure those slats.
Again.
Enter bigger screws AND mega-glue.
πͺπͺ
Sunny days get me outside with my jar stash and spray paints.
This past weekend, I expanded with stencils, metallic watercolors, and little craft brushes. π¨π
(See more videos in the comments)
Did you know???
1. Spread Vaseline on areas you don't want painted (like the leaf stencils) πΏ
2. Spray your spray paint into a puddle in a little dish then use a brush to paint (like the fish and bird stencils) π¦
3. Watercolors work well on craft and spray paints (like on the green jars) π
4. These little jars are perfect for trinkets, flowers, votives. . . And are ready to be YOURS for $13 each (with free U.S. shipping) π₯°
Stay Blingy, Blingees!!!

Yeah!! Another carrot post. π₯
Because... this larger carrot pic called for something extra unique. π₯π₯π₯
Off to Robin Z's treasure stash!!
A piece of 100 year old salvaged mopboard;
Some cool old nuts & bolts from Grandpa Fred's 'magic parts drawers';
A stretch of leftover twine;
A couple mini clothespins.
π₯
No cutting, no staining, no painting - just a couple drops of hot glue and *YES*!
π₯
When Robin Z decides her Spring π decor *needs* carrots, then she gets out the art supplies (including some 'saved' frames from too many years ago) and draws (one too many, like that's even possible) carrots. π₯ π₯ π₯ π₯ π₯
She has a fave - do you?
π₯ π
What has Robin Z been up to?
Some heartfelt power tool love on some random spray painted scrap lumber.
*(Many times I'll lay projects on a piece of wood to spray paint - what you see here is the result of the overspray - none of these designs were planned or intentional)*
A little sawing. A little sanding. A little gluing and hammering (very gently!) And....
Well, swipe to see a couple of the Heartful, Imperfectly-Perfect, Hearts!!
π₯°πππππππ
It is definitely (& beautifully) wintry right now. . .
Robin Z is dreaming of all the colors of Spring.
But, oh, the glistening white and snippets of color are definitely inspiration for all sorts of projects and creations to come!

If you can't find her in the studio, there's a good chance she's gazing at all the bright and shinies.
π
The ksyardbird Studio is a little emptier, a little quieter; the bling is not quite as bright or inspiring today.
π§
Robin Z had to say good bye to her Sweet, Deaf, Extra-Special Doggy-Buddy, Mr. Jaz, overnight and nothing seems quite right. π’π
Creativity is on pause.
There will be *no* delays in shipping.
Thank you for understanding.
Robin Z did (another) thing with spray paint ~
How about custom gift bags!?!?!?!
βοΈπβοΈπβοΈπβοΈ
1. Paper gift bag (any color works well!);
2. Stencil (once you're done, it will be painted too);
3. Tape and newspaper (tape newspaper to edges of stencil to make it larger to cover areas of gift bag and it's handles you do NOT want painted;
4. Choose paint colors (metallic were used this time - any color is awesome);
5. Place stencil over bag in whatever position you choose - making sure areas you don't want painted are covered;
6. In well-ventilated area, on a flat surface, spray with chosen color(s). Do NOT saturate - one or two very light spray-overs works best. The color will NOT be solid - you don't want the paint to soak through and make the bag soggy);
7. Carefully lift stencil;
8. Admire your work and let bag dry several hours;
9. Fill bag with gifties and prepare yourself for compliments when sharing;
10. HaPpY DaNcE!!!!!

Here's a quick tip for a quick deco fix.
π― Have a glass jar candle with the 'right' fragrance but 'wrong' colored wax or container?
β€π§‘πππππ€π€π€
Spray paint!!!
πππππ
1. Put the lid on the candle.
2. Turn the candle upside on a flat surface outside (unless you lucky thing have a bad-ass painting booth).
3. Choose your spray paint color (Robin Z went with metallic gold - it's the holiday theme around here this year, apparently).
4. Spray evenly all the way around the jar- no need for multiple coats or even one heavy coat - just a good evenish coverage will do. A bit of 'splotchy' just adds romance to the candle light.
5. Let the paint cure 24 hours in a dry, well-ventilated space (preferably where it won't freeze or get crazy hot) before removing the lid and lighting the candle.
So Pretty!!!
So Easy!!!

Robin Z is ~*pausing*~ during a very busy day.
This is a simple snapshot of her view. Yes. Another picture of the mantle and fireplace. But that sunshine. Aaahhh... βοΈ
Everyone needs to make time to PAUSE in a beautifully comforting and inspiring place once in a while. In fact, maybe once in lotsa whiles (if you know what I mean).
Wishing you a Pause-ful Day.
