Mckinley Tech Class 1974

Hello fellow Tech 74 classmates, I'm sharing this message from one of our classmates. Please read the message below, let me know if youre able to assist. Thanks in advance!

We have a classmate fleeing a domestic violence situation who needs help by Monday (10/7). I lost all of my household goods, clothing, appliances, furniture, medications, books and bibles, and five generations of family pictures.

If there is anyone who can contribute this is what I am asking for.

1. Someone to help drive to the dmv area from Atlanta a ten-hour trip. I have a service dog that can’t go on a plane. He is clean and well-trained. But I can't drive that 600 mile distance by myself.

2. A temporary place to stay for 4 to 6 weeks while I obtain a contract or job. I can pay a very small amount to share a house or apt. Or I can provide companionship for an elderly person who just needs wholesome, engaging company or help with a few light chores.

3. Car insurance payment of 175.00 and gas money or gas card for 135.00 for 2+ tank fill-ups on the trip.

These are the resources needed to get through this ordeal right now.

Flash back I was preparing for a new chapter of my life on June 13, 1974. My fellow classmates and I are officially celebrating 50 years of being out of high school. We would not have made it, if it had not been for the grace and mercy of God! I'm ever so grateful!!!
