A Ca****la Pops was honored to perform at the dedication of the new Kennett Square Library and Resource Center on August 27, 2023, with hundreds of community members and elected officials in attendance.
The Kennett Square Library and Resource Center is located at 320 East State Street in Kennett Square.
A Ca****la Pops Welcomes their New Music Director!
A Ca****la Pops is pleased to announce the addition of their new Music Director, Mitos Andaya Hart. Dr. Andaya Hart has led vocal ensembles in jazz, popular, early music and classical styles in the United States, South Africa, and Australia. She serves as the Associate Director of Choral Activities at Temple University in Philadelphia where she teaches conducting, literature, and directs the Temple University Singers. Dr. Andaya Hart is also the Artistic Director of the Philadelphia chamber choir, PhilHarmonia.
Outside of Philadelphia, she continues to serve as a clinician, adjudicator, and guest conductor for honor choruses, all-state choirs, festivals and workshops both nationally and internationally in Germany, Kenya, the Netherlands, and South Korea. In addition to conducting, Dr. Andaya Hart has several editions and arrangements published through Alliance Music Publications, UNC Jazz Press and Hal Leonard.
