I help people discover, develop, and deliver unforgettable stories, so they can recover their narratives, build honest relationships, and play a crucial role in a changing society.
Starting next week, I’ll be going live with some super cool friends in a new series I’m calling, “Crafting Resonant Stories”.
If you’re asking yourself, “What does that mean? How do I do that? Why does that matter for me or my business?”, well then tune in.
I plan to walk my guests through their own stories and dive deeper into:
☀️ how their current content (aka stories) aligns with their vision and values
☀️ how they navigate challenges (aka the digital noise and pressure to conform) to find a unique voice
☀️ how they can use storytelling to create even deeper, more genuine connections with their audiences
It’ll be informative but also, funny, touching, insightful, and all the feels that humans feel. Because when we craft stories that resonate and go beyond the superficial, we create meaningful interactions that build lasting connections.
Dates in the post. Though you may be tempted to hold your breath, don’t, because you need to breathe. Just make a note in your calendar to tune in.
Kickin’ it off on Monday, June 3rd, with my dear friend who’s got a story that will make you go 😮 😭 🙏🏽👏🏽💗.
Got a vision hidden behind that eclipse that’s ready to be seen? 🌒
How often have you thought: “This could be an amazing podcast/speech/book” and then just added it to the never ending idea list? I know the feeling—my Google Sheet of ideas is overflowing.
And we fall back to churning out the same old content because the bigger stuff just seems to be overwhelming.
But I refuse to let templated content be the endgame for brilliant minds like yours. 🚫
That’s why I created Creative Catalyst—a space for 10 leaders ready to align their deepest truths with their public personas and connect with like-minded visionaries. 💡📚🎙
Three spots are gone, and I’m looking for seven more who are eager to create something meaningful.
We’re embarking on a 12-week journey starting May 7th to:
🔍 Clarify your voice and vision
📖 Craft stories that truly connect
🛠Master your chosen medium
🚀 Kickstart your signature project
Creative Catalyst isn’t just a program; it’s a transformation.
You’ll not just overcome the biggest hurdle of your project; you’ll emerge with a renewed sense of integrity, personality, and purpose.
Empowering, right?

Here’s my top reason why giving books as gifts is a HARD PASS….
That book on entrepreneurship, personal growth, or manifesting your dreams that “changed your life”? It’s just not going to have the same impact for your friends.
They’re not going to read it. Or if they do, it won’t live up to your hype. Also, giving such a book can come across as unsolicited advice. Presumptuous much?
For example: You think, “Sarah’s lost when it comes to social media marketing for her biz, this book will guide her!” But do you really know Sarah’s business inside out? What she’s tried? How she learns?
I get it, you want Sarah to succeed. But a book isn’t going to show that you genuinely care about her personal growth or her dreams.
You know what does? Gifting her something that truly inspires and empowers her to succeed on her terms.
If this has made you rethink your whole stocking stuffer list, I just happened to put together a guide of gifts that empower and inspire. It’s got impactful gifts for all the entrepreneurs, creative professionals, and personal growth seekers in your life:
✅ Tailored to the recipient
✅ From women-owned businesses
✅ Eco-friendly, because we can’t keep trashing our planet
Give it a peek and then comment ‘GIFT’ 👇🏽 to get the full guide in your DMs.
Let’s start giving gifts that last beyond the holiday season ✨.
Jumping on this trend because I think it’s hilarious…

💁🏻♀️ Might f*ck around and moisturize after my shower today.

Mamas, when was the last time your body was your own?
When was the last time its purpose was to solely keep *you* alive?
We all talk about sharing our bodies during pregnancy, but what about the years before that you devote it to getting pregnant?
And what about the years after when it’s used for feeding, when you share your immune system, when your nervous system feels like it’s controlled by the whims of a child?
If I add it all up, the number is 8 and counting.
8 years.
And mamas, we can be grateful for all our that bodies have created AND grieve for all they’ve been through AND want it to just be ours again…
…to feel what it’s like to really been it
…to relax into ourselves and feel our breath
…to find a home that’s just ours.
Someday that day will come AND someday we may miss these days AND someday we will appreciate solace again like never before.

My therapist when I was in my late 20’s said life really gets good in your 40’s.
After I took pic 1, I dropped hot tea on myself (pic 2).

WHO’S GOT JOKES THIS MONDAY? I do. I’ve got jokes.
They say multitasking isn’t possible. That trying to do so is counterproductive. But as working mothers, what choice do we have?
Don’t feel badly if you can’t do it all perfectly because you’re doing it all at the same time.
The system wasn’t built for women to single-task.
I nourish while I bring in income while I caffeinate while I nurture. I hope my daughters will see that it’s all for them. I hope they don’t feel like they haven’t been paid enough attention.
Deep down, I hope this is all enough. Because it has to be.
I invite you today to comment what’s on your desk, and what maybe doesn’t have to be, or at the very least how you can show yourself some grace for trying to do it all 🙏🏽.

🌟 A quote card that says “Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least.” ― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
I haven’t been getting much sleep lately. My older daughter (3.5) has been waking up and staying up for 2-3 hours every night, and the three month old gets up around 4-5am for a feeding. So my husband and I are switching back and forth and sleep is but a dream. A day dream, I guess.
There’s been a ton of transitions for my family lately, but especially for my big kid. New sister, new school, another new school. She’s acting out a lot and it can be really hard to be around her sometimes because hi, haven’t slept in forever.
But sometimes I remember that she has no container for her feelings yet. Literally. And it’s my job to show her how to work through emotions in a healthy way and model regulated behavior.
Transitions are hard. They suck for me. And I want to scream, whine, and act out too. But that’s reserved for my therapist (lucky her).
Society expects a lot of our kiddos. Especially when you have a smart kid, like mine, who when you talk to her you forget she’s so young. But people need a greater answer as to why things are happening, why the kids are acting this way, why things are so hard. Because the think if they know the why, they can fix it. And fixing is a form of control.
The reality is we don’t have control over anyone or anything. We can only control our own behavior, which is both infuriating but also kinda freeing once you truly accept it.
Often, all you can do during a transition is let go, accept that s**t is hard right now, and understand that a transition is just a transition, and it always ends.
And then of course, there’s the next transition 😜.
Ever felt your personal brand might be lost in the crowd?
I've seen too many cookie-cutter brands out there. And no, it's not just my parent brain talking. 🙈 I often can't tell one from the other!
In the world of personal branding, your story can either make you unforgettable or just another face in the crowd. So, how do you ensure your narrative leaves a mark? 🤔
🌟 Authenticity - Yes, that buzzword! But it's true. Authenticity is the soul of a story that resonates. People crave real, raw narratives, not just polished highlights. If your story feels genuine, it'll echo in hearts.
🌟 Versatility - Can your story jump from a podcast to an IG post, from a video to a tweet, and still keep its soul? That's the hallmark of a narrative with universal impact.
🌟 Emotion & Feedback - The best stories stir feelings - be it hope, empathy, or joy. The real test? Your audience's reactions. Their feedback is your compass, guiding you to deeper connections.
Speaking of stories that touch souls, check out ‘s transformative journey with The Story Artisan. 👆

New level of achievement unlocked 💰💰💰or is it?
Recently, I was reading thread, where a bunch of mothers of newborns and infants, were sharing hacks for taking care of your kid full-time while working from home full-time.
What I read was basically the equivalent of patting your head while rubbing your belly while standing on one foot and doing the Hokey Pokey.
Things like:
💼 work nonstop while the baby sleeps — forget about peeing or eating!
📱 Make sure to have all your email and message apps on your phone— can’t miss that anxiety-inducing ding!
👶🏼Babyproof everything so you can let your kid roam around safely— I’m sorry but aren’t all the moms on this thread parents of newborns?!
Since when is it okay to devote 💯 to your kid and 💯 to your job and 0% to your own well-being
And where is this magic pill that enables us to exist at 200% and who do I need to talk to to get a prescription for it?
But really, who am I to talk, Ms. Look How Cool I Am Driving While Pumping Please Don’t Anybody See My Ni***es While I Stop At This Light?
Motherhood or entrepreneurship— which keeps you up more at night? I may be sleep deprived, but that’s when I do my best thinking 🤔.
Something’s brewing… and it’s not just what’s in this baby’s diaper 💩. Be the first to know when I know announce to my email list next week. Subscribe via the link in my profile.
And now I’m on Wellbutrin.
On my way to my first entrepreneur meet-up since bebe was born (with my fave group ), I had to stop to deal with a diaper blowout, then stop again for a screaming hungry baby, only to get to the event late and be unable to find parking.
A change of plans led me to for a dirty chai, ham and cheese croissant, and a chance to finally use the bathroom myself (while wearing baby, a feat in and of itself).
I’ll get back to business someday, just not today. Today we adapt and accept the need to adapt, and keep what matters most, above all else.
And of course, what matters most is eating this delicious ham and cheese croissant made by 😜
I don’t know why I fight it 🍝
Happy three day weekend to all those who were sane enough to remain childless! Now excuse me while I go stop my toddler from using my newborn’s head as a ping pong ball. ✌🏽🤡🇺🇸
Assuming she means a skeleton but this interaction does little to assuage my recent fears that she’s going to kill us all in our sleep…

on maternity leave.
The days are long but the weeks are short.
Good thing I started that maternity leave early! Esmé Grace (AKA Mighty Mae) was born on June 29.
After bloodwork of mine came back and showed a disorder linked to stillbirths, the docs decided it was time to get Esmé out, ready or not. I was rushed into UVM for a c-section and due to a combination of factors, Esmé was taken immediately to NICU.
I didn’t get to hold or see her for 8 hours. I lost my s**t and had a seizure-like vasovagal during which I screamed “I want to see my baby!”
I imagine a young Sally Field a la Steel Magnolia’s playing this scene in the movie of my life.
But wait, I’m not done… read more in comments 👇🏽
on Maternity Leave.
Despite being at a point in my pregnancy where I’m just making a dent in my couch, my brain still wanders to “Is This Enough?”
Is the need to do more / have more a result of being raised in a capitalist society, or is a universal human desire to find meaning in life?
At what point does wanting more become all-consuming and at what measure is it totally OK?
Can it be both?
I notice in rereading this mini-essay I wrote yesterday that there are so many contradictions.
But I’m starting to realize that life is neither this nor that, but rather this AND that.
It’s a story we tell ourselves that two opposing things can’t be true. I think it’s because it’s easier to understand one feeling or desire than multiple contradictory ones. And when we feel we can understand, we feel we have control. And control is the number one addiction, at least for me.
At the end of the day, I write and post these stories in my head not only for catharsis, but in the hopes that they resonate with you other whole-ass human beings, and bring you some comfort that I relate and you are not alone.
What’s maternity leave look like when you’re an entrepreneur?
No clue. I’ll let you know when I start!
So far, I’ve been….
🤔 going back and forth on when my official end date will be
🤔seeing how much I can still do for my business while the baby prep list gets bigger and my energy wanes
🤔 trying to guesstimate how much time I’ll need till I can come back— a calculation that looks something like this:
Time it takes to heal my body x time it takes to bond with baby / time I can manage without bringing in income + all things I can’t plan for = who the f**k knows!
So it’s time to just decide…I’m picking a date…
My last day working with clients will be Friday, June 16th! Contact me if you’d like a 1:1 session before then.
I’ll be opening my calendar back up in November for discovery calls. Link in bio if you want to get on that now!
In the meantime, expect to hear from me on how it goes as I “take a break” from mompreneurship and grow my army of female warriors! 🦸🏻♀️👩🎤🦹🏽♀️👸🏽🏋️♀️🧜🏽♀️👩🔬
