St. Charles County school districts team up to battle cancer Five school districts in St. Charles County are collaborating with Pedal the Cause to fight cancer. The nonprofit organization funds cancer research that saves lives.

🌟 We're thrilled to celebrate Nicole Ashraf, a 5th-grade teacher at Castlio Elementary School, for being honored as a St. Louis Regional 2024 Teacher of the Year! 🎉 This award recognizes Nicole's impact on students. She will now be considered for the Missouri State Teacher of the Year, and potentially the National Teacher of the Year! Join us in congratulating Nicole for her dedication and passion for teaching. Second grade teacher Susie Doering used her CHEER grant for a cubby to hold headphones at Castlio Elementary in the Francis Howell school District.

As every teacher knows, storage is always needed in the classroom. With her CHEER grant, Marcy Schrage, fourth grade teacher at Central Elementary in the Francis Howell School District, purchased pink storage stools. These have the additional function of storage as well as seating for small groups. Marcy was also able to get some games, including STEM games, for indoor recess days. Judy Hinsley sponsored Marcy and delivered her CHEER check.

Congratulations to all of the retirees who have dedicated themselves to our students in Francis Howell, and a special thank you to our President Anita Kuehner, who after many years of service and leadership to students and staff, is celebrating her last day of school!

We know sharing the tentative agreements reached through the collaboration of our negotiations team and administration will help attract new staff!
