The kitchen, the most important place in the house
The kitchen is the place where love ones and friends gather to eat and talk about everything. I have precious memories of my kids doing their homework at the kitchen table while I was cooking. If I was baking cookies they wanted to be there to eat the first ones. The smell of homemade meals and treats were always appreciated. Love is about giving and sharing the best of you in any circumstances. I am grateful to my grandmother for her example and love for her family and anyone that needed her help. She always welcome everyone to her table even when there was not much on the stove. Grandma believed in sharing and rewarding for good deeds. I loved going to the open market to buy fresh products and carry her grocery bags. After buying the food she rewarded me with a fresh glass of fruit or food from the food vendors. I learned to cook by helping her to prepare the meals. She was my mentor and my reason to give and do the best.
