We will now go into production of our proof of concept for ‘With Love, Lottie,’ for Round 3 of judging! Focus on Ability Short Film Festival voting 🗳️ is now open!
My 5-minute short documentary ‘Watch Me Fly’ featuring Anu Francis is a finalist at the Focus on Ability Film Festival. We’re so honoured to be part of the lineup of great films about disability, by disabled filmmakers. It is the richest short film festival prize in Australia, with over $100,000 worth of prizes, and supported by Screen Australia.
Voting is currently open for the people’s choice award. You can view the films online and vote for Watch Me Fly in the link below - any prize money we win will directly be supporting… our (drum roll…)

I have been very fortunate to receive a $10,000 grant from Rockstar Energy Drink who believed in our vision in producing a feature documentary on para-athletes and disability discrimination faced outside of the sporting world. While that project won’t be finished for a very long time (in the meantime, I’ll be following Anu around on her road to the Paris Paralympic Games 2024 🇫🇷🏊🏼♀️🚴🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️), you can view and vote for our proof-of-concept short below!
