NDAHA Boys Showcase Team

Dennis & I have finished our 10th year as team managers of the North Dakota NDAHA Boys Showcase Team. This year had some changes, including writing this as we ride the team bus home. We had a challenges this year but we worked through them and had a good Showcase. We didn’t win as many games on the score board, and I’m proud to say the boys played hard & represented our league with class and respect. Many new friends & great memories were made. Thank you to players, families and our communities for your support. Thank you to Coach Bryan, Coach Nic. Thank you to McKenzie for assisting us with manger duties. Thank you to Tammy Knudson for live feed of games and everyone who supported us from home. We truly appreciate it!

Sightseeing at the Arch

Game 2 vs Midwest lost 3-6 with empty net goal at the end. Boys played hard.

Game 1 vs Missouri White. End of Third period. ND 3- 5 Missouri.

Game 1 vs Missouri White. End of second period. 3-4 trailing by 1. First 2 Goals by Mason Romfo of Langdon ,3rd goal of game by Ian Hogness of West Fargo. This is the first game for this team and 1st time all players have been on the ice together.

Practice at the Kirkwood Ice Arena in St Louis area. Boys are getting their hockey legs after the bus ride. Cool arena with windows and natural light behind the net. Weather is warm but windy. Love seeing the green grass and trees here.

We have a winner! Crosby crowned as Best Rink Burger community It was a photo finish, but the lone American community involved in our best rink burger contest has come out on top. Crosby edged out Midale in the finals by just eight votes, 244-236, and now has bragging rights for the region. The North Dakota community also beat out Lampman and Wawota on its way....
