Three years ago today, July 12, 2021, a catastrophic tragedy occurred. 5 men lost their lives and none of them will ever be forgotten. May they all rest in peace. Especially to my cousin Danielle and my good friend Chris’s son Cailen Vilness.

MY NEWEST ALBUM, “DEMOLITION”, IS OFFICIALLY RELEASED TO THE WORLD!

I cannot put into words how excited and proud I am that this 8 song recording is finally out to the world!
•
Produced by my son, Jordan Pritchett .pritchett, with help from his amazing wife Danielle and engineer extraordinaire Sheldon Zaharko , it’s one of my favourite bodies of work I’ve ever released! For many reasons but especially because I got to work with my family on it.
•
Whether it was production, writing some of the songs, to all my sons singing on “Where We’ll Go From Here” Jordan & Danielle, Breydan .b and Mason .sherk, the meaningfulness is throughout the album.
•
I want to tell you some of the great stories behind the songs, and will soon be doing that thanks to the help of DJ Paquette , so please keep an eye out for it!

Special thank you’s to Shane Hendrickson , Jayson Brinkworth , Scott Smith , Chris Gestrin and Jay Buettner for being such an amazing band for these recordings!

Some of my bestest family and friends in the world had a hand in writing some of the tracks, such as Ryan McMahon , Danielle Bourjeaurd , Jordan, Breydan, Mason and Danielle Marie. As well as Scotty (Steel) Smith, who I co-wrote “Hungover But Hangin’ In” with, which I think is a song EVERYONE needs to hear!

On July 12th, 2021, five men didn’t come home to their families that day…

And on Sunday, May 19th, there is going to be a fundraiser held at .kelowna to raise funds in order to complete the creation of RISE Memorial at Knowles Heritage Park in Kelowna, in honour and memory of those five amazing men.

Please come join us that evening for music (by band, and myself acoustically), food and drinks, but most importantly remembering and paying tribute to:

Cailen Vilness
Brad Zawislak
Jared Zook
Patrick Stemmer and Eric Stemmer.

For me, this will be an event that is near and very dear to my heart. Cailen Vilness is my first cousin, Danielle Pritchett’s son and he was like a nephew to me, just as much as Danielle is like a sister. He was a great guy, and even though he was only 23 years old when he passed, Cailen was kind, generous and very loving. He’s sadly missed by all of his family, friends and anyone who even met him for a minute.

Rest In Peace, Cailen. We love you and miss you. ❤️

As a kid I would be lying by saying I wasn’t bullied.

I’ll be honest I don’t know how many kids make it through their younger years without it happening.

Now as adult, there are still unkind people in the world. And it doesn’t matter what you do for a career, what you do for community or how you live your life. Unfortunately, bullying can still happen. And it needs to STOP!

I know there is mixed feelings about and I get it. However, I can say that I try to lead my life day to day being kind others. And I am fortunate enough to have a career that provides me have a platform to help others have an exit from the daily life “junk”.

I want to give a MASSIVE thank you to my road family .pritchett for taking this picture and standing up against bullying! Thank you for wrangling us on to the stage for a quick picture! Thank you to my girl for ordering the pink shirts for the tour. AND most of all thank you to for creating this initiative and supporting community.

About last night Edmonton…… 🍻

Wow, what a night, what a crowd!

Something great was happening last night that got overlooked. Not on purpose, of course, but mainly because I have my head shoved so far up my own butt with this tour (because it’s sooooo freakin’ busy!) that, even though I knew about it, I wasn’t as supportive as I should have been.

Last night, this beautiful, smart, talented, caring, loving woman was nominated for an award. The award Sarah was up for was for “Creative Innovator” from the Women of Influence Nanaimo , and it was a big night for her.
•
Sarah has been extremely creatively innovative to the Nanaimo community and surrounding areas in supporting numerous charitable causes for almost 2 decades, but now she is also dividing some time helping me out with my career.
•
Sarah doesn’t have to win any awards in order to receive accolades, nor would it change the person she is. Sarah does all she does because she understands her skills will help impact those in need, and that is what truly fills her soul.
•
I love you, babes, and wish I could have been there with you at the gala. I know there there likely will be many more of these events that you’ll be a part of, where I will be there with you, cheering you on as you make your acceptance speech!
