One of the most convincing UFO sightings over the Lake Charles area took place in late-August 2003. Stephanie Wilks would witness a “strange glowing object” which her mother managed to capture on film. It was just after 9 pm when the young woman spotted the orange lights hovering over a field that sits opposite the family home. Her father also witnessed the anomaly following his daughter’s calls to come and look. He would claim “there was definitely lights out there” but was unsure if they were part of a solid craft. Flashback! This should have dropped 2 weeks ago but it didn’t so here we are! Better late than never. Harlan E. Ford brought Louisiana's Honey Island Swamp Monster to national attention when he appeared on the season 2, episode 17, of "In Search Of..." which aired on March 4, 1978. Shortly after his death on April 8, 1980 several items of importance were discovered in the attic of his home. It is not known if these items were authentic or if they were perhaps fabricated with the intent of using them on a TV show or perhaps in a film. One thing is for certain. With Ford's death we many never know the full truth.

Last week, six cattle died mysteriously in Texas with their tongues removed, the hide around one side of their mouths gone, and no blood spilled according to authorities. The suspicious deaths prompted theories that included everything from carrion bugs to flying saucers, satanic cult killings, or secret government operations. Recently, the cattle population has been under immense attack, either through fires burning down dairy farms or "natural" causes. Their sordid demise is certainly sending a terrifying message and possibly, a bad omen. Brazos and Madison counties, TX

Madison County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death and mutilation of cattle along TX-OSR.

Ranchers advised a 6-year-old longhorn-cross cow had been found lying on her side, deceased, and mutilated on their ranch.

A straight, clean cut, with apparent precision, had been made to remove the hide around the cow’s mouth on one side, leaving the meat under the removed hide untouched. The tongue was also completely removed from the body with no blood spill.
It was noted there were no signs of struggle and the grass around the cow was undisturbed. No footprints or tire tracks were noted in the area.

Ranchers also reported that no predators or birds would scavenge the remains of the cow, leaving it to decay untouched for several weeks.

While looking into the longhorn-cross’ death, five other similar occurrences involving four adult cows and one yearling were reported along the area of OSR running into Brazos County as well as Robertson County. Each incident occurred in different locations, pastures, and herds.

The other cows were found in the same condition, lying on one side with the exposed side of their face cut along the jaw line and the tongue, once again, completely removed. On two of the five cows, a circular cut was made removing the a**s and the external genitalia. This circular cut was made with the same precision as the cuts noted around the jaw lines of each cow.

Just like the first, there were no signs of struggle or disturbance in the grass, no blood spill, and no noticeable tracks. No predators or birds would scavenge the remains for several weeks after death.

The cause of death of all six cows remains unknown.

Multiple similar incidents have been reported across the United States and we are actively coordinating with other agencies to find answers.
