I read this book in 2 days, and couldn't put it down! I read A LOT and usually finish a book and move on to the next, but I just stayed up for hours daydreaming about the characters, which never happened to me before! Anyway, this book is amazing - I loved the first one but this one is my favorite so far! I'm just trying to survive until the next book comes out

Five Kingdoms series
Heir of Oak is about a high school senior whose rather boring, predictable life turns upside down when a golden eyed boy shows up in her California town. She gets stuck with him, in what seems a terrible turn of luck, at every turn. But there is more to this boy then meets the eye. He begins telling her that she is heir to some throne in another world - one, literally, out of fairy tale.
She can’t help but believe him, at least partially, as she notices things about herself that are completely... irregular. She can make things move and can do things no normal human could.
So he takes her to this “other world” and despite how much Adeila tries to remain normal and ignore this other world she is helpless with the pull of it all.
