Thank you for a great GiveNOLA Day! Our goal was to raise $4,000 to supply ten schools in our community with a Crisis Kit and manual, to help at least 500 children struggling with grief. We thank the generous donors who helped us raise $2,320!

Mercy's Project Fleur-de-lis has developed an innovative Crisis Kit to help elementary and high school students struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, and PTSD in the aftermath of losing a loved one and/or being affected by community violence. With the help of generous donors like you, we can provide these Crisis Kits to schools for use by the mental health professionals who help these young people heal by processing their grief.

"One of my patients is an amazingly bright woman, but she was struggling to pay for her healthcare costs. I reached out to my team at Mercy and we were able to send her a Visa gift card to use for food, medication, and what she needed." - Tuyl Mogabgab, Mercy clinician
Mercy's Patient Assistance Program aims to provide some relief for these families in need. With the help of generous donors like you, we can provide these patients with groceries, clothing, school supplies, and other essential needs.
After receiving help from Mercy's Patient Assistance Program, Tuyl's patient sent this text message: "Good morning. Yesterday I received a very unexpected but generous and kind gift from Mercy. It is a Christmas card with Visa gift card. I am completely stunned and overwhelmed with gratitude. Please thank whoever is responsible for this for me. I'm working on processing my feelings. I'm grateful that I learned how to do this because of my experience with Mercy and you. Thank you."
