1 TB coconut flour
2 eggwhites
1/2 scoop protein powder
Dash almond milk

Blend all ingredients together and cook on a non-stick pan. The easiest, high protein, low carb pancakes!

MY STORY

I am not usually one to do these kinds of posts but I want to share my struggle with you. This is me last year on the left and on the right now after dropping over 10kgs, 4% bodyfat, 8 levels of visceral fat and maintaining my muscle mass since October last year.
I want to share a few little products that have really helped - and whilst diet and exercise are the important part, I HAD THOSE DOWN PAT. I trained 6 days per week doing crossfit, i ate super healthy, if anything I was undereating! My body was so stressed so i was gaining body fat, i then trained more, ate stricter and continued to gain fat and fluid. It really affected me. It thne clicked something was wrong. My hormones were so imbalanced! I upped my calories and carbs, changed my training and introduced a few little natural hormone helpers.
My visceral fat was a clear indicator i was holding hormonal fat as it was super high despite my healthy lifestyle. I knew these products worked so I jumped on Alpha Venus, Cort RX and used fitiques tighten up dermal cream on stubborn areas. in just 5 months my body has changed so much, ive dropped fluid and as i said before 8 levels of visceral fat which is ALOT. I have so much more energy, i am sleeping better, I am actually happy as my moods are balanced and i recover better from training.
For those who know me from the shop you know I dont push supplements and ONLY ever give my honest opinion and these products have literally changed my life. It's prety crappy when you're working your butt off and going backwards! Ladsi canno stressenoug how important it is to address your hormones regularly. The pill, plastic strawers,cleanig products, the air we breathe can even throw out our estrogen balance! Neither of these women are healthy. As a nutritionist to be I see huge problems with both of these women's health and weight yet we seem to shame unhealthy skinny more so than those who are overweight. Neither are eating a well balanced diet or nourishing their bodies correctly. That does not in anyway define who they are but unhealthy, whether too big or too thin is not ok. Health is important.

I know this may cause people to get upset. But something id like to speak about and don't mean to offend anyone at all please know that and anyone who attacks me or calls me horrible names you will be blocked. I might not be perfect at wording the message I'm trying to get across but my intentions are not evil. .
The girl on the left is obviously underweight - yes she maybe genetically small but it's pretty obvious she is not healthy and has not been eating a well balanced diet and would be on 500 or less calories a day to achieve her body - nor is she a good role model for young women. I hope she has some support around her to help her change her lifestyle . .
The girl on the right I've seen in recent articles and apparently is an " inspiration" to the younger generation - I also think she is not a good role model for young girls. .
Thin girls are slammed ALOT these days but females who are carrying more weight than what they should for there bodies, organs , moods , bones , cells etc to be " healthy" are now inspirations because they are confident in their swimsuit?

I think it's FANTASTIC she feels comfortable but at the same time I don't think it's a healthy body image that should be applauded.

It's not about having a 6 pack or no cellulite on your b***y but HEALTH is not either of these photos.

Now I'm not saying I'm perfect or anything like that but I just think it's sad that women who are obviously eating a lot more than what they need and not moving their bodies to be fit , strong and healthy are getting praise. I'm not saying either are " ugly or ANYTHING like that " just don't think either are healthy role models and shouldn't be given praise.

There is no " perfect" body and no two bodies are the same BUT it is obvious when someone is living an extreme lifestyle one end or the other and I hope girls find other role models to help them achieve a healthy lifestyle. It's always my goal for women to FEEL and look their best and teaching them balance and a healthy active happy lifestyle.
Remember ANYONE who is making rude nasty comments think before you type as you will be blocked.

I have posted this picture before but it is a reminder that low fat yoghurts are not necessarily healthy. The flavoured ones are loaded with sugar as you can see in the picture. I love Chobani plain yoghurt and flavouring it myself otherwise

Almond and goji berry protein slice
Ingredients:
1 cup oats
2 scoops protein powder (i used vanilla)
2 Tb cacao or maca powder
2Tb natural sweetener like natvia
1 egg
1 eggwhite
1Tb extra low fat margarine or coconut oil
1/2 cup water
1/2c goji berries
1/4c chopped almonds
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Combine all ingredients but the almonds and berries. Blitz with a hand blender until smooth. Mix in almonds and goji berries then pour into baking pan. Cook for approx 15mins until set and has risen slightly. Allow to cool.
