As the day breaks over the horizon, dawn beckons with the cacophony of warbles over the neighbourhood known only to the magpies.
We remember today, those who served and sacrificed for our country, the men and women who traversed land and sea to keep Australia safe. Their courage and selflessness ensure our freedom, a freedom we cherish each and every day.
Lest we forget. 🌺
The spirit of ANZAC lives on, not just in war, but in the Aussie battler within, the one who lends a hand to a mate and faces hardship with a grin.
