We celebrate and give thanks for a wonderful giving season for Mothers Memorial! Thank you to all who sacrificed and gave!

“Those who know me well, know that I have a weakness for fresh, warm bread, coming straight out of the oven! They say you’re supposed to wait a while and let it cool down or settle before cutting into it. I haven’t been very successful in that area! The aroma always wins my senses over and I can’t help myself, but to immediately cut into it, letting the butter quickly melt, before taking that first bite!

This year it felt like Oregon truly came together with all of the perfect ingredients: several cups of flour, a dash of salt, a little pinch of sugar and a sprinkle of yeast. Then comes the stirring, kneading, and most importantly, the waiting! Each church played its part in creating that ultimate sacrificial offering!

When I start to reflect on this year’s MM offering, I cannot help but think that the Lord is well-pleased and that the aroma of our sacrifice has made it into His presence! Let it be said of Oregon, that we truly Withheld Nothing! We put it all on the altar of sacrifice. Now it is in His hands to do whatever He wills for the Greater good of His Kingdom!

To God be the Glory! Together, Oregon gave a record-breaking offering of $150,000!!!”

We want to thank Sis. Rachel Sparks for her 16 years of service to the Oregon Ladies Ministries! She has served 10 years as our OR Ladies Secretary and the last 6 years as OR Ladies Ministries President.

To know her is to LOVE her!
To observe her is to ADMIRE her!
A gentle and peaceful spirit follows her wherever she goes!

One of her greatest qualities as our Ladies’ Leader is her ability to bring out the potential in all those around her! She has mentored and created a team of ladies that have not only found their giftings, but has also found a LOVE of serving this GREAT District. She has further blessed our Pastor’s and Minister’s wives, young ladies through Designer Girls, and countless women throughout our district with all that she has done and all that she is!

Sis. Sparks, We love you and we KNOW you will continue to bless the Kingdom of God in whatever capacity you are given! Oregon Ladies Ministries thanks you for your sacrificial service! ❤️

Psalm 121:1-2 reminds us of the unwavering source of our help and strength. In life's journey, amidst challenges and uncertainties, we can lift our eyes to the hills, knowing that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and Earth.

This profound truth anchors us, instilling courage and resilience, for the Creator of all things watches over us, guiding our steps and shielding us with boundless love. With faith as our compass, we embark on each day with renewed hope, trusting in the steadfast presence of our divine Helper.
