Enjoying fun and weird plants.
If you find yourself stopped at the light on First and Winnebago check out the Tithonias popping over the hedge.

Houseplants. Lots of them used to be outside plants in the SF garden.
Big shout out to for carrying here in Madison. Please go buy them all.
Marigold magic out front. Hard to believe it’s November in Wisconsin. Another big shout out to for having the BEST marigold seeds out there. 'Frances's Choice' 'Harlequin' and 'Burning Embers' were all started last March. I think Frances made very good choices.
Hard to believe how many flowers are still kicking it in my garden for November 6th in Wisconsin. Please don’t hack your garden and put it on the curb or diss on annual flowers. Most of these are from that I started last spring.

I started a bunch of Cerinthe from seeds in March and planted them all over the place. The bumblebees in Wisconsin seem to like them just as much as the California ones. You can also spot one of the Manihot grahamii babies on the porch.
