The King emeritus Albert II of Belgium led The King's Day church service at the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula in Brussels, accompanied by his two children, Princess Astrid and Prince Laurent, and son-in-law, Prince Lorenz.
Also in attendance are government and different sectors representatives, but no King Philippe? Many have wondered why King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, and their children didn't attend the service.
According to Brussels Times, The King's Day is celebrated in Belgium to honor The King but tradition dictates that the (reigning) King never attends The King's Day celebration as he "does not celebrate himself".
The King's Day in Belgium coincides with the name day of Leopold and Albert, the traditional names of Belgian kings. It's not a public holiday, but workers in Federal Government services and some other public services have a day off.

1. Diamond Festoon Tiara, worned by Autumn Kelly on her May 2008 wedding to Peter Phillips. The tiara is personally owned by Princess Anne which she received in 1973 from a shipping company.
2. Cartier Halo Tiara, worned by Catherine Middleton on her wedding to Prince William in April 2011. Purchased by Prince Bertie, Duke of York in 1936 (before he became King George VI) for his wife, Elizabeth. In 1944, Queen Elizabeth gave the tiara to her daughter, the future Queen Elizabeth II, as a birthday present.
3. Greek Meander Tiara, worn by Zara Phillips in October 2011 for her wedding to Mike Tindall. It was given by Princess Andrew of Greece (born Princess Alice of Battenberg) as a wedding present to her daughter-in-law, Princess Elizabeth, in 1947. The Queen gave it to Princess Anne in early 1970s.
4. Queen Mary's Diamond Bandeau, worn by Meghan Markle for her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018. A wedding present to Princess Mary of Teck for her wedding to Prince George, Duke of York (future George V). Queen Elizabeth inherited it in 1953.
5. Greville Kokoshnik Tiara, worn by Princess Eugenie in October 2018 for her wedding to Jack Brooksbank. Made by Boucheron for Dame Margaret Greville who bequeathed her jewelry collection to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.
6. Queen Mary's Fringe Tiara, worn by Princess Beatrice for her wedding to Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi in July 2020, this is the only one among these wedding tiaras that Queen Elizabeth II was seen wearing in public. This was also the wedding tiara of the Queen in 1947, and Princess Anne's wedding tiara in 1973.
HRH Princess Margriet of The Netherlands and her husband, Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven, are in New York City attending the annual NAF (Netherland-America Foundation) Ball. NAF was established to promote bilateral friendships between two nations in the field of art and culture. Princess Margriet is the younger sister of the former Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands.
Princess Charlene of Monaco is in high spirit as she opens the No Finish Line charity marathon in Monte Carlo. The event is held three days before Monaco's National Day. Happy to see Princess Charlene recently in her most relaxed self.
King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands, together with the Dutch delegation, visited Norway to meet business leaders who promote sustainable economy. Before the meeting, he made a courtesy visit to King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway.

King Charles III visited the royal marine training center in Lympstone where he presented the King’s Badge and a Green Beret to the best all-round member of the King’s Squad on completion of their Training.
The King holds the title Captain General Royal Marines since October 2022. The title revert to the Crown in February 2021 after Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, who inherited the role from his grandfather, Prince Philip, in 2017, stepped back from senior royal role.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden speaks at the UN Headquarters in New York City in her capacity as deputy board of director of the World Childhood Foundation. In the evening, she attended the gala reception. WCF was established by her mother, Queen Silvia, in 1999. The organization celebrates its 25th founding anniversary this year.
Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan shares a sweet snap with his eldest child, Princess Iman, "Iman right before the match today", the Crown Prince said. Spain and Portugal are usually part of this summit.

Prince William met students, creatives, and industry experts, learning about their works in technology and innovation to enhance Northern Ireland's global reputation in the tech industry.
Prince Edward and Sophie, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, visited Stoke Mandeville Hospital as it celebrates its 80th anniversary. The royal couple toured the Aylesbury-based facility' wards and met members of the hospital's staff and patients.

Happy birthday to these royal third cousins, Peter Phillips and Princess Elena of Romania! 🎂🎉 Peter Phillips was born on November 15, 1977, as the eldest child of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips.
At the time of his birth, he was 5th in the line of succession to the British throne, and remained in that position until June 21, 1982, on the birth of his cousin, Prince William.
Peter Phillips is the eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He is a godson of his maternal uncle, King Charles III. Happy 47th birthday Peter Phillips!
HRH Princess Elena of Romania was born on November 15, 1950, in Lausanne, Switzerland, as the second child of Romania's King Michael I and Queen Anne (born Princess Anne of Bourbon-Parma).
She is great-great granddaughter of King George I of Greece. Her paternal grandmother, Princess Helen of Greece, was a first cousin of Prince Philip.
Princess Elena is also a second cousin of King Felipe VI of Spain, Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, and Prince Lorenz of Belgium. She is the heir presumptive of her older sister, Crown Princess Margareta, to the headship of the royal house of the defunct Romanian throne. Happy 74th birthday Princess Elena! 🎂
King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted a reception in Buckingham Palace on the eve of His Majesty's birthday to mark the centenary of The Film and TV Charity.
It was founded in 1924 to help people working in the screen industry to overcome professional challenges. King Charles III is the patron of the charity since the passing of his mother in 2022. The late Queen held the patronage since 1952.
After the reception, the King attended the royal performance screening of Gladiator II at Leicester Square without Queen Camilla who is still recuperating from chest infection.
Prince Lorenz and Princess Astrid of Belgium, the Archduke and Archduchess of Austria-Este, attended the 50th founding anniversary of the De Duve Institute, a multidisciplinary research center.
It was founded by Nobel laureate, Christian de Duve, a Belgian chemist and physician, in 1974 as the International Institute of Cellular and Molecular Pathology.
Princess Astrid is the younger sister of King Philippe of the Belgian and is a working royal. Her husband, Archduke Lorenz of Austria-Este, was made Prince of Belgium by her father, King Albert II, in 1994. The creation extended to their children but not to their grandchildren in the male-line so children of Prince Amedeo are titled Archduke and Archduchess of Austria-Este.
