Hello 2022! I have been waiting for you. I have to say I really wasn’t in the mood for a run this morning but thought about what would get me into a good mood and it was moving or rather going for a run. It really does work. It’s amazing how physical activity affects the mind in a positive way. For me, this is like meditation. Also, I wouldn’t be able to run the way I do if it wasn’t for Pilates. Whether you walk, run, play golf, tennis or any other sport or even the way you move your body day-to-day, Pilates helps to strengthen your body ways you can maximise range of movement in your joints, relieve back ache and tension, develop stamina and create more confidence in your body.
Here’s to a fulfilling 2022. 🥳
As we wind down to enjoy good food with family and friends over the festive period, it’s gives us the opportunity to reflect on how we can maintain our mental and physical wellbeing for the year ahead. I really look forward to starting my classes and 1:1 sessions on January 4th! So come and join us as Pilates is the best way to help us move better, feel better and live better. All the very best wishes for the holiday season. 💚🥳

Is It just me or is time going just too fast. A little practice in a big space.
Movement for mental health should be part of everyone’s lifestyle.

Haven’t posted for a while!
Am taking it slow this morning. After a busy term, it’s just lovely to spend a little moment to warm up the spine before a session. Here I am concentrating on variations of the roll down flexing the spine and feeling the release of the lower back. An area which most of us feel tension through too much sitting sitting and spinal misalignment. Also extending the upper back really opens up the chest and creates an awareness of where the upper back needs to be aligned in relation to the rest of the spine.
There is so much going on here to control these movements. A lovely way to warm up or cool down after a session.
Have a super Saturday!
