HumRaag is the result of @Chitra Srikrishna and @Shoba Narayan's mutual love for classical music and storytelling. The project has two primary goals - to bring classical music to a wider audience and to help cultivate music appreciation across boundaries. The project is still in its early days bringing classical music, devotional, film, folk and popular music with a dash of poetry and story tellin
g to audiences. Chitra Srikrishna is a graded artiste of the All-India Radio and has been a Carnatic vocalist for over two decades. She has performed in numerous sabhas, on radio and television in India and overseas. She writes a music column for Citizen Matters and is a regular contributor to newspapers such as the Deccan Herald and The Hindu. Shoba Narayan, author, columnist and music lover, as the sutradhar will support Chitra's performance. She writes about food, travel, fashion, art and culture for many publications. She is the author of two books Monsoon Diary and Return to India.
