If you don’t know, you get $4 extra for a short notice booking, plus the $2 incentives and paid regular for the class if you wait 15 min into the class to leave!!!! Easy money!!!! $15 to sit for 15 min!!!!!!

When you’re in the middle of your 10:00 night class and your oldest runs in like this looking for your youngest! 😳😂 I have no idea what is going on out there!!!!🤦‍♀️. Just keep teaching, just keep teaching, just keep teaching.....

One of the best parts of this job is being able to “play” with your schedule! With the kids home for summer, I’ve found it difficult to teach 8-10 classes in the mornings (aka- getting up at 4 am and teach to about 10 am)! NO NAP FOR MOM! So I’m trying out a different schedule that divides and conquers my hours! I’ll still head to bed at the same time I usually do, but get to sleep in a little later! I’ll keep you posted! Another morning from a hotel! Love teaching on the road and having a job that allows me to work from pretty much anywhere!!!

Taught a monster today!! 😂😂 So much fun, especially because this little one used to cry during her classes and now she’s always happy 💕

You know you’re a Georgian when you desperately want the student to put “y’all” in the blank for number 4! 😂

Satisfaction! I’ll take it along with the 5 apples!!!! Also, teaching at a hotel using my phone hotspot worked!!! The only other advice would be to bring lighting! The rooms are really dark!

Taking it on the road this weekend! Here’s to hoping the hotel has amazing WiFi, because Mike and Meg are going on a field trip! I love working at a place that allows me to be wherever I need or want to be!!!! I’ll let you know how it goes!

It finally happened! The dreaded unexpected tech issue welcomed me during my first class this morning! Five minutes into class I realized my computer was failing to charge and the cute little battery was failing to appear on the top right of my computer to give me an idea of how much juice my poor Mac contained! Thanks to some help from my life saver Ariana Stringfellow who raced around my house finding extra chargers, possibly usable iPads/chrome books, and even switching the breakers on and off.... I ended up teaching from one of my Kid’s chrome books! Was the video horrible! Absolutely! I’m sure the audio was off too! BUT I did NOT miss a class! So, don’t be like me! I’ve been hearing for months that I needed a tech back up plan but completely ignored the advice! Now I do! What will be your tech backup plan? I promise, it will happen to you! 😂

Teacher Tip: Completing quality feedback when you have multiple back to back classes can be difficult and sometimes overwhelming! I keep a small whiteboard next to me to jot down notes about the student that I want to include in the feedback. After the class I type up what I can, save the feedback and take a quick pic on the whiteboard before erasing and starting a new student. After my classes I’ll pull up the pic and finish the feedback! This way I remember what to include and don’t forget the student’s name!

When your 5 year old wakes up, and you still have 4 classes to go ....you give him the “very important task” of sharpening colored pencils!!😂😊😍 .

IKEA for the win! My props were getting out of control so I grabbed a couple of these carts on wheels to not only organize, but also can be be easily moved!

Tip: use whiteboard markers to label your props so that you can easily erase and write something else of needed!
