🌟Eighth Grade Night🌟

We had the best time celebrating our 8th Graders this past weekend, on the red carpet!! Such a fun thematic night, spending time with our students. We missed those that couldn’t make it but we are so proud of the 9 students that have grown and matured in their walk with Christ!

Our 8th grade student leadership team has blossomed from this group of students! Our student leaders have served in numerous areas in our youth group, spent time in devotion and discussion with one another, provided/shopped Christmas for 5 children, gathered/prepared baskets for Smoky Mountain Children’s Home during their Winterfest weekend and will serve in leadership during AXIOS! We pray these leadership values will continue to take them deeper in using their gifts and talents for Jesus!!

We pray Jeremiah 29:11 over each student and can’t wait to see how their faith in Jesus GROWS 🌟Incredible students that will do incredible things with Him!!

None of this would be possible without our INCREDIBLE Youth Leadership Team that knocks it out of the park every single week! We are FOREVER thankful for them! Special shout-out to our very own balloon gal—Sierra Snyder knocked it out of the park with the balloon decor! ❤️

We hope everyone is staying safe & warm this weekend! We have missed our FP family and students!!! Fingers crossed, we are hoping to get back on regular schedule this Wednesday 🤞🏼

With that being said, we are using today to think, plan & prepare some things for the spring! We need a few things from our parents:

1. Strawberry count! How many strawberries have you sold so far? Just trying to make sure we are still good on boxes.

2. Spring extracurricular schedules! We didn’t get any for fall but want to try to plan ahead. If your kiddo plays a sport, has an activity or other extracurricular, their MSM leadership wants to support them so send us those schedules so we can arrange to have someone there for support!!

3. If your kiddo plans to attend Winterfest and has not registered, it’s is VITAL that you get them registered! We are getting close to crunch time on tickets so we want to ensure we have enough! Please register them ASAP! If you have not paid the $100 deposit, please message us your email for an invoice to be sent!

4. Winterfest Competition is continuing this Wednesday but we will be joining everyone in the sanctuary for Night of Prayer! Every student will get 20,000 points for their team by attending Night of Prayer! We will not have a theme night for this Wednesday.
