The EMSL Firstball Tournament didn’t disappoint today! With the sun shining, 7 teams from across the country came together and battled it out for the Cup and Plate! A huge well done to the ‘DodgySheriffs’ who beat a strong in the Cup and to ‘Leicester Royals 2’ who came out victorious against - how you guys were still standing after 4 back to back games I’ll never know!
A big well done to Royals 1, Tigers & BSides who also put out strong performances today! It was lovely to see so many happy & smiling faces in the sunshine!

Tonight sees the first game of the season as Brewers take on the Tigers @ 18:00 at West Park. Come down and watch the new season kick off in what will be a good game of Softball.
Play Softball
The EMSL is a co-ed (mixed male/female team) softball league for players aged 14+ with people still playing into their 50’s and beyond. Teams consist of five males and five females with each team taking their turn to bat and then field and each game consisting of seven innings.
All abilities and experience levels are welcome, whether you’ve only just heard of softball or have been playing for years.
The league runs from April to September with the Firstball tournament opening the season and the famous EMSL Labor Day tournament in July.
Games are played on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings and afternoons. Teams are always looking for new players, so if your interested in playing send us a message or visit playsoftball.co.uk to find a find a team that trains on a day and in a location convenient for you and get in touch with them.
