The final track off "Still Chilly" is "Moving Forward."
This was actually the first song I finished for this album, back in the summer of 2019. The guitar part at 2:25 is one of my favorite little segments on the album.
And that wraps up my write-up for every song on my album! Thanks for following along!

The penultimate track off "Still Chilly" is "End Credits"
This song is based on two riffs that I used to gravitate to whenever I was just messing around on the piano. I thought both had a final outro kinda sound. The 2nd one (which starts about 2 minutes in) was my theme song for the legendary "Rip Citizens" podcast. I sent it to the host (my friend Alex) with the working title "melancholy funk," which is a vibe I'd like to recreate sometime again.

Track 11 off "Still Chilly" is "Thru Ya"
Years and years ago I thought of the lyric "I wanna slide right through you like your morning cup of coffee," and I spent a long time trying to write a whole song around that one (sorta gross) line. But it was kind of hard to finish the song because I had never written a love song before. Then in 2018 I fell in love with someone named Stacey and it became way easier to write. So this song is dedicated to my bb. Stacey.

Thru Ya Chilly W***y · Song · 2021
If you only listen to one track from my new album, a good one would be track 10, titled "Baby Steps" !!
The first part of this song I came up with was the lyrics, which I thought of on a rainy bike ride in 2016, a year in which relentless positivity was kind of en vogue, musically (think of "Broccoli" by DRAM, "Coloring Book" by Chance the Rapper, and so on).

Track 9 off my new album is called "Sometimes"
This song is about feeling nostalgic for times that you know weren't even very good times.

Track 8 off my new album is "Wild Mountain Thyme"
For this one, I made a trap beat and played a traditional Irish song on the flute over it. Maybe one day Drake will have an Irish phase the way he's had his various phases with other cultures, and he will rap over this beat.
