We are coming up to a year without Kokum - miss you so much Mom - I have been writing in a journal for Ara. I write to her about her birth story, her family, her names(s), and messages about my honest and loving experiences as a mom raising her. I hope one day she reads the journal and remembers me as fondly, lovingly, and appreciatively as I have lately been remembering my mother… what an incredible complicated and beautiful experience motherhood is. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
