For the first time ever, I entered some arrangements in Open Class at the EOT County Fair. I created arrangements in three categories: Sunset (warm colors), Turtle Races (green dominant), and "Arrangement Today, Soup Tomorrow".
.. And, I won! My arrangements received Grand Champion (sunset category), Reserve Champion (turtle category), and I got a blue on my veggie arrangement. Plus, my sunset arrangement won the overall prize for Artistic Design! What fun!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Porch Pot season! We'll be hosting TWO Porch Pot Workshops on Saturday, November 11th and Sunday, November 12th. Weather permitting, we may offer workshops the following weekend too.
The cost will be $40 again this year -- offering a variety of evergreens, accent greens like eucalyptus and magnolia, bows, and bling. Bring your own pot or use one of my grow bags.
