About 5K Buddy Run:

Please be reminded that buddy run was designed in order for you to run with a buddy. Make sure that you are with your buddy all the time from start up to the finish line. Our marshalls will disqualify your time if in case that you will reach the finish line alone.

Tip: Start practicing and run with your buddy until we reach Sunday. :)

I. GUN START
3:30 AM - Race Village Open
5:30 AM - Gun start for 10K
5:40 AM - Gun start for 5K Individual & Buddy
5:50 AM - Gun start for 3K

Reminders:
1. Please come as early as you can so you can maximize the freebies from our partners. We will be giving loot bags for everyone where you can put in the loots.

II. ONSITE REGISTRATION
Onsite registration is open from 3:00 AM to 4:30 AM for 3K and 10K.
3K - PHP 200
10K - PHP 400
(Inclusive of timing chip, bib, and freebies from the race village)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Onsite registrants are not eligible to win the grand raffle and top finisher prizes!

III. UNCLAIMED KITS
1. All unclaimed kits will be available from 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM. Kits unclaimed from 5:01 AM onwards will be donated for charity.

IV. 10K ROUTE UPDATE
1. Due to unforeseen issues due to the recent weather conditions, the route for 10K will have minor changes. For simplicity, all 10K runners will need to run the 5K route twice to finish the race due to road repairs that are happening.

V. BAGGAGES
1. As much as possible, please minimize the amount of baggage/important items that you are bringing during the race.

VI. GREEN RACE
1. We will be providing cups in our hydration stations but It is a good practice to bring your tumblers and hydration bottles to keep our roads clean :)

VI. FINAL CALL FOR MISSING KITS AND CONFIRMATION EMAILS
1. We highly advice that you raise any issues that are related to confirmation emails and missing kits so that our core team can help you as much as we can. Proper channels are (Direct Message via Facebook (not comments so we could easily check) or email us at [email protected]).

1 Week To Go!!

RACE DAY REGISTRATION:

Dear runners! We are pleased to announce that we will be having an onsite registration if you still want to participate in the race. You can still purchase the full package during the race but with limited stocks on the singlets. If in case that we run out of singlet, registration fees to track time (bib & chip) can still be purchased.

HP Run Full Race Kit Cost: Same pricing applies
HP Run Registration (bibs & chip only):
PHP 200 = 3K
PHP 400 = 10K

NOTE:
1. 5K and 5K BUDDY IS ALREADY CLOSED.
2. Runners registering on the actual day are not eligible to win the TOP FINISHER prizes & RAFFLE.

The proceeds will still be donated to the building of e-health centers in Tacloban.

RACE KIT DELAYS:

Please be informed that some of the runners may be encountering issues in terms of claiming their race kits in their respective pickup locations. We are apologizing for this as we have encountered shipment issues in the process. Rest assured that all kits will be delivered before the race day. For your action, please report this in our communication channels (messaging via page / Email) if in case that you have not successfully claimed your kits. Our core team will reach out to you for assistance.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Race Kit Claiming for October 6, 2014

As communicated earlier, the ONLY claiming site open for tomorrow will be the Golds Gym Holiday Inn site. Meaning, only those who registered via BPI payments can claim their kits tomorrow.

Transactions done at the HP Pharmacy are not included in the delivered kits!

Gold's Gym Holiday Inn Schedule (PH Holiday): 8AM - 9PM
HP Run 2014 Race Kit Setup Completion: 11AM (Start of claiming)

Please be patient when claiming your kits as there could be a potential surge of runners during this period as it is also a PH Holiday.

Hydration is one of the key elements to be able to run successfully. As we run our body temperature begins to rise. That is when our body response involuntarily through sweating to avoid heat related illnesses. To be able to support our body, runners should pay close attention to how much we hydrate ourselves before, during and after the race.

Luckily we have our friends from Aquabest to help us on this matter during the race. See you all on October 19 and stay hydrated!

We have received numerous inquiries if they can claim their kits already even with the announcement. Rest assured that all important milestones until we reach the actual race day will be posted here. :)

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: The registration for HP Run 2014 is now CLOSED! We will be sending the next steps such as the program, race kit claiming details, and other useful information about the race in the coming weeks. All the other confirmation emails will be sent out next week.
