Save the Date! If you're planning summer activities for your kids or grandkids, be sure to add Anderson Japanese Gardens' Garden Explorers dates to your calendar. This is a FREE ten-week interactive parent/child activity held at the Pavilion each Thursday from 9-10 a.m. June 8-Aug. 10. Each event includes story time led by a community leader, with an activity, craft or children’s music afterward. Garden Explorers is appropriate for four to six-year-olds, but children of all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult guardian. On Aug. 3, Golden Apple will host reader Maureen Kirschmann from RPS 205, then Golden Apple Foundation teachers will engage children in interactive stations featuring STEM activities, art and crafts, and music with movement.
