Just finished extracting the Huajillo honey, starting on the Wildflower. The flood put us a bit behind, but it's getting done! Soon we will be in the cotton again.
If you are in the Livingston, Cleveland,Tarkington or Shepard area our son Chance is running his bee business under the Bee Sweetz name and has several small stores he has honey in. If you know the quality of our farm to table and the benefits of our honey then you can expect the same quality from his.
If you have been watching the news you know our area has been flooding. Please pray for the beekeepers across the U.S who bring their bees here in the Spring and those who live here. We are hearing of so many with huge losses. Others can't get their bees into yards, so their crops will be short this year.

This man right here is always busy! He has been making splits and went to check on our bees down south. The bees will be home this weekend. The Huajillo Honey will be pulled and boxes put back on for the Wildflower Honey.

We shipped some of our bees to pollinate the almonds in California. The bloom is a little late though. We arrived on the 15th. The farmer said it looked like 10 more days before it would begin. All the rain with little sun hindered the bloom, but in my opinion it will be good!

Thank you to everyone that came out and supported not only us but all of the other mom and pop vendors at the Huntsville Fair on the Square yesterday. We enjoyed talking with each of you, all the questions you had and being able to educate you on the bees, different types of honey, and wax products we make.
