Meet Kaiden! Kaiden is a sweet, loving, and spunky little guy that we just can’t get enough of! In speech therapy, he is currently working towards improving his receptive and expressive language skills by identifying advanced body parts, answering “what” questions, and increasing his vocabulary. He is also working on mastering several articulation sounds to improve his overall speech intelligibility. He enjoys all things cars, superheroes, dinosaurs, and Legos! Kaiden is making great progress towards his goals, and we are so proud of him!

Kaiden is such a sweetheart! He loves dinosaurs, LEGOs, and enjoys playing with others! In occupational therapy, we are currently working towards improving core/upper extremities strength, grasp development, pre-handwriting, scissor skills, letter recognition, and dressing/self-care skills. Kaiden has grown tremendously in therapy! I cannot wait to see what he accomplishes next!

Kaiden is a sweet boy who is always smiling in our sessions. In physical therapy, he is working to increase his balance, overall strength, motor planning, and bilateral coordination. He enjoys walking on the balance beam, jumping, and scooter/rocker board activities the most. His smile is infectious, and he always makes me smile.

Meet Nathan! He is our Terrific Kid this Tuesday! Nathan is always energetic and happily willing to participate. He is currently working on expressing irregular plurals, identifying occupations/people, following commands with left/right orientation, recalling sentences, and formulating sentences using adjectives. He has really come a long way since beginning speech therapy at CME, he and has recently mastered numerous goals. I look forward to watching his communication skills grow even further!

Meet Parker! He is our Terrific Kid this Tuesday! Parker has been coming to CME for almost six months. He is a happy, sweet, and hardworking 4 year-old boy who loves trains, blocks, and games. 

Parker has been working hard on improving his overall articulation skills to an age appropriate level. He is currently working on sounds at the word, phrase, and sentence levels. I know with Parker’s sweet spirit, determination, and cooperation, he will continue to make great progress. We are so lucky to have Parker be a part of our CME Family!

Thatcher is this week’s Terrific Kid Tuesday! He receives speech and occupational therapies at our Paragould clinic. In speech, Thatcher has been working to improve his articulation to be better understood by others. He is extremely intelligent & works hard to master all goals presented to him. Currently, we are working on S in the final position of words, the SH sound, L at the beginning of words, & V in the final position of words, as well. He has reached conversational level for many of these goals, & his positive attitude each day at therapy plays a major role in his success! Thatcher is always excited to play and participate in therapy. He always has a positive attitude and is willing to tackle any challenging task head on.

Thatcher loves building intricate designs, playing hide and seek, soccer, and marshmallows. He continues to make so much progress in occupational therapy in his hand strength, handwriting, and daily living skills. He is so much fun to work with, and I’m so excited to see what he can accomplish in the coming months.

Meet RJ! He is this week’s Terrific Kid Tuesday. RJ has been working hard and making great progress in OT! He is so sweet and always full of energy. RJ is currently working to improve his visual motor skills, auditory processing, eye-hand coordination, and prewriting by completing activities such as copying and cutting shapes, playing catch, following multiple-step commands, and locating hidden objects in pictures. RJ is a joy to work with and I’m so excited to see him progress even more over the summer!

Last week, we were excited to wrap up Better Hearing and Speech Month with a lunch for all our employees at each location. Our team of speech-language pathologists are truly exceptional people who make a significant impact in the lives of the children they work with and their fellow employees. We were thankful to be able to celebrate with them throughout the entire month! 💚✨🤟🏻🦋

TERRIFIC KID TUESDAY 🎉 Learn more about Isabella from her CME Inc. therapists below! ⬇️🦋

Meet Isabella! Isabella has such an energetic spirit and always loves reading books and playing with animals during her sessions. She is currently working on imitating long/short vowels, producing ‘D’ in the initial position, answering what/where questions and understanding spatial concepts. I am excited to watch Isabella grow in her communication skills.

Isabella is such a spitfire! She is working hard to meet goals daily. She loves playing with her play food set and serving up requested meals! We are working on our prewriting skills, overall visual motor skills, grasp development, and hand strengthening. She loves “Copy Cat” for prewriting strokes. All of these skills are needed to increase our independence and preschool readiness. I can’t wait to see her progress throughout the year!

Isabella has only been in PT for a short time but is already making progress! She loves to jump on the jelly squares and into the ball pit. She also has great balance walking on the balance beam and enjoys completing puzzles with this skill! We are working on her motor planning, coordination, and dynamic balance. I look forward to continue watching her growth!!

Ian has been making great progress in PT! He has improved his ability to jump, ascend/descend stairs, and walk along the balance beam. Ian continues to improve his overall coordination, strength, and balance. He loves to play in the ball pit and complete puzzles during activities. I love working with Ian, and I can’t wait to see the progress he continues to make!

Meet Aiden! Aiden is working hard in OT to improve his handwriting, eye-hand coordination, upper extremity strength, and visual perceptual skills. He recently met his goal for writing the upper case alphabet from memory.

Aiden is such a pleasure to work with in PT! He works hard in every task presented to him. He is currently working on improving core strength and endurance with sit-ups and wall-sits and hand eye coordination with dribbling. I look forward to seeing Aiden’s perky personality each week, and watch as his skills flourish!
