We are in a spiritual war, a battle for our minds, and we must take seriously the charge to renew our minds according to the Word of God or be overrun by the enemy.

It’s important to pay attention to your thoughts and to take inventory of what’s running through your mind. Pause for a minute every so often to evaluate your thoughts. You can’t take captive what you are unaware of.
(Personally, I want to start writing my thoughts down so that I can go back and see the things I’m repeatedly thinking about)

Recognizing the voice of the Holy Spirit as you discern the source of thoughts you are thinking is foundational for every believer. Otherwise, it’s easy to start trusting in your own wisdom or the thoughts of others, rather than God’s voice.

To help with that discernment you can ask yourself..

For Philippians 4:8 tells us to think about such things.

This group was started with the purpose of creating a safe place for women to be welcome and grow their faith and learn more about Jesus! I want to discuss topics on faith and scripture. I want us to lift up each other in prayer and most importantly I want us to grow closer to our Heavenly Father 🙌🏼
