Gender equality is 300 years away according a to the latest estimates from the UN. Not exactly the way I wanted to celebrate International Women’s Day. Instead, I wanted to lie in a dark room and sob.
Being a resilient, assertive woman I decided to take a different approach. Instead, why don't we elevate women who are forging change, so today I asked several people about their thought on gender equality. Here are a select few that bolstered my belief in humanity:
