monkey.com/r/FAMRES is part of a research study conducted by faculty from the Department of Occupational Therapy in the Arizona School of Health Sciences at A.T. Still University (ATSU) along with faculty and doctoral students from the College of Education at Texas Christian University (TCU). The purpose of this research is to explore the role of parental spirituality and mindfulness in family resilience. Potential benefits for you and your family include increased awareness of the role spirituality plays in your life, the lives of your children, and the functioning of your family; identifying important positive factors in your family relationships; and creating a bonding activity for your family to participate in. Ideally, if possible, in a two-adult household, we would like to have both parents/guardians complete the survey separately; one for each parent or guardian at the link provided. However if you are part of a sole-parent family, please complete only one survey at the link provided. Your participation is voluntary and will only involve completing the questionnaire, which should require about 30 minutes of your time. Please see the survey at the link provided for more specific information. Do not in any way reveal identifying information when you complete the survey. Your name is not associated with this anonymous online survey so your participation is completely anonymous and your personal confidentiality is carefully protected. Signatures for consent to participate in this research are waived to ensure candid responses and protect your confidentiality. If you choose to participate in the study, you may enter a drawing for a $50 VISA gift card.
