I took a little break from the Akaterina instagram for the last few weeks as I’ve been working on other projects. And as I return to regular scheduling it’s hard not to acknowledge the terrible war that is now taking place in Ukraine.

I have seen many brands, including small Irish businesses, supporting aid efforts and crisis relief through their sales, and I commend it wholeheartedly.

For me, given the scale of my business, it’s not something that is I feel is appropriate, and I also don’t want to use this crisis as a marketing opportunity. But please be aware that I as an individual, a brand, a business, and I am contributing to various organisations personally. And as I share all things Akaterina, I am doing so mindfully and with heart, wishing, like so many of us, for peace and love the world over.
