Amazing full circle moment today. In February 2007 I met a recruiter at from a little company named . Shortly after I packed my bags and left Atlanta for Minnesota. Today I was invited to be a vendor at their Black Entrepreneur Fair. 11 years ago I would have never imagined my journey leading to this moment. Don't be afraid to take the first step.

On Friday I launched the Beauty Lounge Beauty Box. Six curated boxes specific to your hair type. I believe hair care has become way too confusing and at the end of the day it's really just hair. We did it! Last night's launch party was a success and it wouldn't have been possible without these ladies.
Special shout out to for all her help with last night's event. Clutch doesn't begin to describe her. There aren't enough hashtags to express my gratitude love you girl!!
So incredibly proud of all the parents who came to today's Kids' Hair Fundamentals class. So many amazing aha moments. By learning how to take care of our kid's hair, we can positively impact their sense of self. Especially proud of this dad who learned to cornrow! The next class will be held on July 16th.
