PE Columnist: Dan Bernstein

Dan Bernstein Dan joined the P-E in 1976, covering business, county government and politics. He was born in Denver and is a casual Broncos fan.

In 1980, he moved to the editorial page and in 1982 began writing his column. He's also a worry-wart Yankees fan, plays trombone in a brass quintet and is still trying to live down his years as a member of the Stanford band. He has two sheepdogs and a patient wife.
