Tomorrow is the day!
Now I need to confess something. This is not your typical holiday album. We are playing some very fun characters, and they are not as family friendly as my normal content. If you are not a fan of profanities and alcohol consumption, this may not be an album for you. I also would not recommend listening with kids or grandmas in the room.
But if that doesn't scare you off, get your holiday ears ready for the release tomorrow!

This is Ridley! Like many artists with just a first name, she blasted onto the scene with the release of her debut album, “Did He Wish For Me.” Her pop/jazz fusion sound made her a darling of multiple genres, and her biggest hit, “The Slay Bow,” topped the charts for weeks. It has been a few years since her last album, and the critics have wondered if she’s washed up early. She's agreed to record this holiday album on a recommendation from her producer, but claims she'd rather be home with a hot toddy 🎄

Meet The Rascal! aka Herbert Peterson. He has toured the country with his band the Ray-Men for the last 25 years, wowing audiences with their signature rockabilly punk sound. Most known for incorporating an electric mandolin in his act, The Rascal is arguably most famous for being briefly married to Avril Lavigne. Despite being a successful touring artist, The Rascal and his Ray-Men haven’t had a hit album since the early 2000s. He enjoys a stiff drink, and is ready to grace you all with his Christmas magic 🎄

It has been so fantastic to see you all this month! 2 shows down, and we still have a few to go:
Please take note that my last post had an incorrect date, this one is updated.
October 25th I will be at the Timberlake Lodge playing for the Itasca Empty Bowls Project. Come on out to help support hunger relief and build community at this awesome fundraiser! For $30, you get a handmade pottery bowl, and a soup dinner. I'll be playing form 4:30-6:30, so be sure to stop by and say hello!
October 26th I am taking the show on the road and playing in Superior. Thirsty Pagan Brewing has some fantastic brews, and some of the best pizza in the state, so if you're in the area, I'd recommend giving it a try!
October 27th I am back and playing at one of my favorite regular places, Smoke on the Water Co!
October 29th it is your turn to play! I'll be hosting my monthly open mic at Klockow Brewing Company Brewing form 12-4, and I hope to see you all coming out to share the stage with me. We love music, poetry, short stories, performance art, stand up, anything family friendly that fits on a stage, we want to see!
So there you have it! There are lots of opportunities left this month, and I'd love to see you, so don't be shy, come say hi :)

This is a song I wrote in the summer of 2020. You remember that summer. Life was... very confusing to say the least. We were thrown into something terrifying with no road map. On top of that, it seemed like we couldn't get along when we needed to the most. I know for me personally, my relationship with myself, with others, with religion, it all changed drastically. It was scary. Still is.
That's when I figured out how important perspective really is. The world is way too big to stay in my own mind. My reactions are not final. There's more.
You can hear this song, plus a few more originals tomorrow evening at Sir Benedicts Tavern on the Lake. I'll be opening for Wild Horses starting at 9. You don't want to miss this one.
