Blazing Cats

Thank you players, coaches and parents for a great softball season!! No formal group shots tonight, but they had fun playing kickball and celebrating the end of the year🥳

The Blazing Cats played a great championship game in the CI division for adapted softball and took 2nd place to the Dakota United Hawks, 5-4. They have always been great competition for us, the game was tied from the 5th inning. Both teams had a 1-2-3 out inning, Ryan finally had plays at home with an out, strike outs by Cayleigh, and double play !
JT, Caden R and Clarke made all tournament team as well!!
They played so well together this year and should be very proud to take 2nd in the state!! Congratulations on a great season Cats!!! We are so proud of you !!👏

The Cats won their quarterfinal game 14-0 with the South Suburban Jets tonight! Such a strong start they were looking good !!
They will play their semifinal game at noon Saturday against Osseo Orioles

Today’s the day!! The start of the last tournament of the school year for the Blazing Cats!!
They play the South Suburban Jets at 6:30, Chanhassen high school.
Players will be bussed from Century Middle School leaving at 5:00 pm. Let’s go Cats!!!

Nice ending to Varsity’s regular season, a win over Stillwater 17-2.
Riley had two home runs, at least three strikeouts by Cayleigh and some quick thinking plays at 3rd with Zoldey and Roseth !!
Hard to believe the end of the year is here but still have the state tournament in a few weeks!! Let’s go Cats !!

Pictures can’t possibly describe the energy at the JV game today. The excitement of the players, the cheering of our amazing spectators……just WOW!!

The Cats played another great game! While we did win, that really wasn’t the focus for most. What the crowd was really focused on was how much fun everyone had. High fives were flying, words of encouragement were said, just a great atmosphere!

End score for our final game of the season was 11-7. Great job and amazing season Cats!!

Yesterday and today JV played against Dakota Hawks. Yesterday’s game was full of base hits by the Cats, today we had a lot of balls hit to the outfield! It’s been so fun to watch this team not only grow together as teammates, but really grasp the concepts of playing ball.

JV won both games! Way to go Cats!!

Varsity had the first loss of the season, 10-6 Dakota United Hawks played a good game!! We will be ready for them again at the state tournament 🥎😉

JV played against our friends from Rosemount - Dakota United.

Tano caught a few fly balls, several players hit doubles. Foul balls were popular today! Our players also did a great job keeping their eyes on the ball and waited for the perfect pitch!

Although we sadly lost our first game of the season, nothing can take away from the energy and teamwork the Cats show.

Final score after 5 innings, 9-8

Varsity had a win over the South Washington Thuderbolts, 15-0
JT started it off with a homerun, a few innings of 3 outs in a row, strike outs by Cayleigh, another home run by Clarke, and a great hit by Zach with bases loaded!!!

JV had a close game with South Washington! Final score 12:11 Great teamwork and fast feet running bases and fielding balls. Andy, Kenatt and Payton among others had great hits that helped score some runs.

Great job Cats!

JV won their 3rd game today! Final score against Bloomington Jets was 15:4. Sydney and Sam did amazing at pitching, they even had a few strike outs! Cavin hit a double, and many players hit the ball into the outfield.

Varsity won at South Suburban Jets today 18-8
Homerun and some triples from Clarke, lots of outs at second with great throws from Caden Z and Caden R to Riley, nice catches from one of our newest players Laynie!

JVs game was against Dakota Hawks. A close game, but the Cats won 13-12.

Both Olivia and Evan had great hits! The Hawks had some fly balls, and the Cats fielded balls and showed great teamwork!

Fun game with the Southern Stars yesterday! Varsity won 12-6. A few highlights: Great pitching by Cayleigh with 6 strikeouts! Caden Z just about dived for a great catch, Zach almost handled an inning by himself again! Nice work Cats! Next game Bloomington Jefferson Thursday at 4:30.

Riley with a double play, great catches from Zach, both Cadens and steady outs at first with JT. Great pitching from Cayleigh with at least one strike out too !! Awesome hits from many players, it’s going to be a really fun season 😎

-JV and varsity both had undefeated seasons
-We had shut out games during the regular season and even one during the state tournament
-All 12 varsity players scored
-Our Caden Roseth has the all time high scoring record for adapted floor hockey
