Found this cool lantern/candelabra thing last weekend for less than $5 and spraying it silver turned out nicely. I’m thinking when it’s hung up I should put some flowers in the lantern. I plan on using electronic candlesticks.
Metallic Wax Finish is my new best friend! Great to get the silver look so easily.
I got this cute vintage teapot at a garage sale today. So cute! I took a photo of it find in front of this cute cottage nearby.
“The Lady On The Boardwalk” by Franz Skarbina 1883.
This is my makeshift bookshelf. I used some silver bows to tie them together to give it a more cute shabby feeling. It works for now I guess. 🤷♀️ Still don’t know what to put on top of it really. On the blank frame I wanted to paint this stick style house that I have in my city but that’s a large project for another day…anyways have a wonderful Wednesday!
After then before…unfortunately that’s the only before photos I had before I painted it silver. The person I bought it from said that they were sorry but the glass was a bit clouded which she didn’t notice before I came to get it. Regular windex wasn’t getting it off. I was fine with it because it was so cheap and I knew there was a way to clean clouded glass. I would need to use vinegar and baking soda but in the end after spray painting it I’m probably going to keep the clouded part I just Windexed the dust off and now it looks naturally old and antique…I’m not using it to look in anyways just for decoration. I can always change it in the future. The silver has really given this mirror new life!!! I was thinking of selling it but I want to keep it.
Wall collage…all credit goes to my sister she hung up every single one.
