Some take cat naps. I prefer a dog nap. In the grass 🌱
Excited to be playing a “hometown” concert in Bermuda on Dec 16th. Returning to the stunning Anglican Cathedral, as the atmosphere was magical. Tickets from www.bdatix.bm 🎶🧡🔔
thanks for the photo !
Purely by chance, I bumped into this amazing woman in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Wonderful to meet in person as I’m a big fan and wrote a song for her last year before she set out and WON the single handed round the world “Golden Globe” sailing race. 🌟 (you can hear my song “Ocean Sailing” on all digital platforms, YouTube etc) And speaking of amazing women, I’ve been swimming every day in the cold NS ocean with my 79 yr old mother. I jump in and out of the water quickly, but she calmly swims the entire length of the beach! Much stronger than I am 🧡💫 💪
So proud of my boy as he heads out to university in London 💫 on this new chapter of his life. (He set out wearing a vintage Heather Nova shirt!🥰) Thanks for being the wonderful son that you are, Seb, (even mowing the lawn before you left!🙏) So many amazing adventures ahead of you, that I know you’ll meet with all that beautiful, open enthusiastic energy of yours. Love you so so much!!! 🧡
Greece 🫶🌞🇬🇷
Congratulations to Serilina Fisher, the winner of my 3rd Young Bermuda Singer/songwriter competition. Serilina is only 13 but possesses a songwriting talent well beyond her years. Over the coming year we will meet for monthly coaching/mentoring sessions, culminating in a studio session. She’s incredibly prolific and a beautiful soul too. What a pleasure to work with her. Watch this space! 🌟💛 photo 🙏
SCAM ALERT 🔔 ‼️ Dear friends, there is a scammer out there posing as me as well as my management, Odyssey Music. They are soliciting money by offering rare vinyls, backstage passes etc, and have posted fake tour dates. They send you to a fake Odyssey Music site to make the transaction by PayPal, and invite you to a private Google chat to make you feel special because you are such a loyal fan. It’s criminal, and sadly a real loyal fan lost money on this scam. 😢Please be aware of fake profiles and be very careful. This and my FB page are the only legit ones. (Though my official FB page has been hacked in the past) Don’t send any money to anyone. The scammers are very good at making fake accounts look real. (btw I will never mention “God Almighty” in my correspondence 😉) Thank you to Paul who alerted me to this and allowed me to share the screenshots. 🙏 My team is looking investigating.
Enchanting evening in the woods at Horst Castle in Belgium last night, playing to a wonderful packed out audience. The rain let up, the campfires were burning, and a chorus of frogs joined me on “Rewild Me”👌😍first class hospitality too, from locally grown strawberries to gourmet dinner 🙏💚🙏 ( they even provided wellie boots to get to the stage!) 🍄🌿 photos and

Happy Birthday to my bff: my beautiful, wise sister. Thank you for always being there for me. 🧡Here we are back in the day, onboard Moon, the 42’ gaff ketch that was our home for a while.
So thrilled to be running my Bermuda Singer/Songwriter competition again this year!
I launched this with the aim of encouraging and supporting young songwriters in our community. Having had a 30 year career in this area, I still remember well how daunting it was starting out; Songwriting comes from a personal place, so it’s common to feel nervous about putting ourselves and our songs out there. It takes courage to take that leap, and It’s so crucial to find support and affirmation. It’s wonderful to be in a position to give that support to young Bermudian songwriters.
I encourage anyone with a passion for songwriting to enter. Even if you don’t win, it’s a great thing to do for your confidence as a writer - just putting yourself out there is a wonderful start. I will respond with constructive, supportive and detailed feedback to every entry. And truly it’s not even really about winning; it’s about acknowledging to yourself that you are a singer/songwriter.
Entrants must be under 30 and Bermudian, and must be able to play an instrument to accompany themselves. Please submit a private youtube link of yourself singing and playing 2 self-written songs, and send it to:
[email protected]
The deadline for entry is April 1st.
The winner will receive a year of mentoring with me, a day in the studio with me to record one of your songs at Felix Tod’s “Paradise Cove” studio, and the opportunity to open for me on my next Bermuda show.
The previous 2 winners were Hana Bushara and Salayah Stange, both of whom have since taken steps to bring their music into the world with more confidence and a sense of validation. It’s been amazing to see them shine, and to see them identifying themselves as artists. Encouraging and mentoring them has been such a pleasure.

Thrilled to be going back to Belgium in May to headline this festival 🙌 Hope some of you can make it! 💛 🇧🇪
I just happen to be the one in the spotlight here, but this photo (snapped by an audience member in Stockholm in November 🙏) illustrates how I feel about music - How playing it/listening to it/being present with it - allows us to step out of our earthly bodies and minds and into our light. 🌟At a live concert we are all participating in this together. Hard to explain unless you know what I mean! 😆 In any case, I’m so grateful to have been there with you - thank you! Much love for a brand new year! 🦋💫🧡 #23
We traveled soooo many miles for my 8 week European tour (thankfully my house has been solar powered for over 10 years to help offset carbon footprint) Half the tour was in a beautiful tourbus and the other half (Benelux with short distances) was in a less glamorous van. Big huge thanks to our super wonderful tourbus driver .auburger and to who drove the van, for always getting us there safely 🙏🙏🙏
Did this really happen? Now that I’m home it feels surreal that I was on stage every night for the past 2 months singing to so many wonderful people. Thank you to all who came and gave such good energy. Your warm response was everything. Here’s a selection of photos by Thorsten Samesch 🙏🙏 of the Hamburg gig. It was sold out and packed to the rafters with people even right over my head! Such amazing vibes 🙏❤️
Behind the scenes heroes: Every single day for 8 weeks these 2 made it happen. And always with a smile. Not once did I ever hear a complaint or even a grumble! Chris Brazier worked his magic in all types of venues with all kinds of PAs and never failed to make it sound fantastic. Che Albrighton was tour manager but really was so much more than that , and every day went above and beyond to make things run smoothly on stage and off. He took care of absolutely everything with grace and professionalism and even played a couple of songs with me each night on cajon. 🙏🙏These two are what made this tour work, and I’m so so grateful. 💙 🙏
Big shout out to Jonathan Frith who opened for me on this tour. Thanks so much for truly “warming up” the rooms with your beautiful music, for singing “Make you Mine” with me each night, and for handling the merch stand. And above all thanks for bringing your good vibes, kindness and humour on the road. 🙏🥰💙🕺🌟
Huge thanks to for loaning me their newly released gorgeous “Hummingbird Faded” for my tour. It was an absolute dream to play this beauty every night. 🙏😍🙏 photos by 🙏
Last 3 nights of the tour are in Belgium. 🇧🇪 Incredibly beautiful venues, and a big shout out to the very impressive lighting designers/engineers - thank you!! Photos here by of Diest and Kortrijk. Tonight’s our last show: Evergem. Sold out even though Belgium plays Canada today in the World Cup! Wow! 🙏😉
