1. Service Area:
Currently Odin’s Beard only offers services and products within the Republic of South Africa only.
2. Delivery Period
We are an online supplier of internationally sourced products. We request you allow for an average of 10 – 14 working days for delivery, but regret that we cannot offer a guaranteed date owing to factors that may occur.
3. Dissatisfaction Notification:
Any dissatisfaction with your order must be communicated to us within 3 days of delivery via email. Every effort shall be made to ensure that your product is delivered to you in good order. We request that you submit photographs and/or video via email should you note any issues with the packaging that may have damaged the product contained therein. Please note that you are not obligated to accept or sign for a package from the courier should you observe damage, and we request you inform us so that we may take the necessary action.
4. Cancellation, returns and refund policy:
Cancellation of orders will be accepted only prior to dispatch from the source, as we source all our products internationally. Dispatched orders cannot be cancelled, however, once delivered the product may be returned, in its’ original packaging, in good condition, at your own cost. We reserve the right to inspect the goods before a refund can be processed. Valid refunds may incur handling fees. Refunds are validated subject to inspection, and will be processed between 7 – 10 working days from date of receipt of goods by ourselves.
5. Product representations & quality:
Every effort is made to carefully select products with consideration for quality and function. We source products from trusted suppliers in various countries, and product images and descriptions are provided by our sourcing agents. We strive to ensure image and description accuracy, however, variations may occur, and we cannot guarantee absolute uniformity in products. If the product still fulfils the function advertised, and the physical difference is not unreasonable, please understand that this in itself should not be reason for the return of goods. If you have any questions about a product, please contact us before placing your order. We ask that you read the descriptions carefully. We are an online intermediary and not the manufacturer, and may not always be able to offer technical guidance, but endeavour to provide reasonable support where possible. Should you not be satisfied with your purchase, we request you refer to our cancellation and refund policy.
6. Incorrect Address:
We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and a recipient is available when placing your order.
7. Unavailability of Items:
In the event that an item is no longer available, we will contact you to offer an alternative and equivalent product at the same price or a full refund.
8. Indemnification:
By using our products or services, you agree to indemnify and hold Odin’s Beard and the operator harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the products or services, including any violations of these terms and conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, claims made by third parties, damages incurred, and liabilities arising from your actions or use of the products or services provided by Odin’s Beard.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Gauteng, South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be exclusively resolved by the courts of Gauteng, South Africa, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts for the resolution of any such dispute.
10. Severability:
If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalidity, unlawfulness, or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of these terms and conditions.
11. Amendments:
We reserve the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated terms and conditions on our website. We encourage you to review these terms and conditions periodically for any changes. Your continued use of our products or services after the posting of any amendments constitutes your acceptance of such amendments.
