L.E.G.A.C.Y ~ The Carolina Tigers have a legacy of helping youth succeed through sports that dates back to the 1980’s.
The Carolina Tigers are rooted in the tradition of the Gaston Tigers Athletics Program founded by Keep Play’n Inc leader Bill Gillispie. Under Gillispie the Tigers participated in youth basketball and youth baseball then semi-pro baseball from 1983 -1993 in Gastonia NC. The Tigers also competed nationally and were known as a class organization that exhibited sportsmanship and sound play. Many of it’s alumni have gone on to be leaders in their professions, and productive citizens in their communities. Keep Play’n Inc and the Carolina Tigers and its leaders continues that legacy.

We believe in playing the game of baseball and the game of life “The Right Way”.

Merry Christmas Tigers Family!!!

2023 Perfect Game World Series Champions. So proud of this group we set a goal to come back and win this tournament after making it to semifinals a year ago. After a lot of hard work and belief in each other that goal is complete. A perfect 7-0 including scoring 66 runs and grabbing over 30 stolen bases, while only allowing 22 hits and 14 runs. We fought to make it through two outstanding teams in International Elite Sports Academy (Bahamas) and Juana Diaz(Puerto Rico). A ton of great memories on and off the field.

Happy Thanksgiving!! Tigers Family!!

Late post but a great day to reflect on our recent trip to Savannah over the Father’s Day and Juneteenth weekend competing in the PG World Series. By the numbers: We played 9 games with 10 players in 5 days. We can boast a Top 4 World Series Finish, Tournament leading 37 stolen bases, a top 3 pitcher, and multiple top 25 players in various categories. Lots to be proud of but more importantly we learned a ton more about the game and how we can be better players and people going forward. A great week in the legacy of Carolina Tigers Baseball and
