C'est toujours spécial de voir quelles influences une personne vraiment objective entend dans notre musique. Dans mon cas, le clin d'œil à Mike Oldfield est assez évident, surtout la pièce instrumentale Les lieux de mémoire... Enjoy!

Here's a review that was posted on the Progarchives Website in 2012. As you may know, Progarchives is considered THE site of choice by many prog rock enthusiasts. It's always special to see what a truly objective person hears in your music in terms of influences. In my case, I think you can definitely hear some Mike Oldfield in it, especially in the opening instrumental Les lieux de mémoire... Enjoy!

Hey hey! Le Royaume des poussières a 10 ans aujourd'hui! BONNE FÊTE! Sa création a été une aventure tripante qui m'a permis de travailler sur un projet musical pendant que j'étais au bac en traduction. Mon objectif était de partir de chansons que j'avais écrites en anglais pour Merkabah, et de les transposer en français et dans un style musical différent. J'ai aussi intégré deux morceaux instrumentaux à l'album pour lui donner sa saveur de rock progressif. Hey! Hey! Le Royaume des Poussières was released 10 years ago today! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Making it was an amazing adventure that allowed me to work on a musical project while pursuing a degree in translation. My goal then was to translate into French songs I had previously written in English for Merkabah, and adapt them to a different musical style.
